This week, there is a report in Ottawa that had Calgary GM Darryl Sutter trying to pry center Patrick Marleau away, however a source in the Sharks' front office shot that down Monday, saying no one from the Flames had even inquired about the Sharks captain.

10/20/2007 Inspite of having a no trade clause, Flames left winger Alex Tanguay cannot escape trade rumors. Tanguay yesterday found himself having to talk about a report on the French language station RDS that mentioned the Flames might be thinking about a deal with the Canadiens that would bring Alexei Kovalev to the Stampede City.
