*Im not saying this will happen, i'd just like it to happen theoretically. I think Ekblad will replace Phaneuf, just not this year. Phaneufs value is a lot higher than most 'armchair GM's' believe, he took the blame for an entire teams collapse. EDM also get a tough-as-nails defensive prospect in MacWilliam, + a 2nd in a deep draft. FLO already has their top 2 centres in Barkov and Hubeardeau, so Gauthier is their perfect 3rd defensive centre of the future. They only move down 7 slots, get the rights for Bolland (who has ties with Tallon) and a prospect D-man in Finn, whos captain of the OHL Champs and possible Memorial Cup winner Guelph Storm. *

If you do not believe this will happen why do you post it when a million others already post something nearly the same? no chance that a team can trade for 2 picks in the top 3. This site is full of dreamers and not people who like realistic proposals I guess
