Leafs need to break up the core in the offseason and start rebuilding,

If the Oilers get the 1st Overall Pick,

To Edmonton: Kessel, Bozak, 1st Round Pick 2015
To Toronto: Eberle, 1st Overall (Draft McDavid)

Then,

To Colorado: Phaneuf
To Toronto: O'Reilly

Finally,

To Anaheim: Lupul
To Toronto: 1st Round Pick 2015

The value may not be far off on the first one but doesn't meet the oilers needs so no point on wasting the first for that

Second I could see happening and won't get a first for lupul

Eberle is a similar player to Kessel, and when the contracts and other off-ice elements are considered – I’d take Eberle.

So then its Bozak to move up to draft a generational player??

Mcdavid has been quoted as being a "one in a generation player" sorry but I don't think you would get that 1st overall pick even if eberle wasn't there.

Not and Oilers fan but if I’m Edmonton, there’s no way that I do that trade. Eberle = Bozak and I’d rather have McDavid than Kessel & the 1st. Not interested in Kessel’s contract or his attitude. McDavid is a generational player.

Amazingly awful. None of the trades is even remotely close to being attractive for the team involved not named Toronto. What a surprise.

Anaheim wouldn't give near a 1st for Lupus. The guy hasn't played a full season in forever.
