^No he couldnt. He's not worth a bag of pucks, but he's far from being worth as much as other elite wingers like Perry or so. 1. Because of 8m per. (I know Perry has prolly even more, but ask yourself: Would you rather pay Kessel 8 per or Perry 8.5 per or whatever he makes) and 2. there are so many obvious attitude problems with Kessel. that's a risk which clearly lowers his value.

^ Drais, what you say may be trus, but Perry isn't for sale and Kessel is.

You can make the argument that there are better overall RW out there than Kessel (bc there are) and that they give you more bang for the buck (bc they do) but none of those guys are currently sitting on the trading block.

If a team WANTS Kessel, they are going to have to pay top dollar bc the market isn't flush with that sort of talent.

Lets break down this trade idea.
Kessel is not a team player 100% of the time. He floats and is not defensively responsible. He doesn't fit hitches system.

The blues have about 6 centers on the team we don't need another one. Currently Lehtera, backes, statsny are superior in our system than kadri. Just don't see Kadri on 4th line.

Statsny has a no trade agreement and was born in St. louis playing for one of the best teams in the league same team his bro and dad played for.

Fabbri almost made the blues team as an 18 year old. He put up huge points in pre-season and is killing it in juniors and played outstanding for team canada. Why would we trade him. he will be a big part of the blues next year.

Linbolm- another great prospect that was phenomenal in the early season and was sent down so he could mature in the AHL he will be the 5th defensman going forward he is the blues future at d not going to trade him.

1st rnd draft pick. -- blues do not currently need to use a first rnd pick to score a better player. They have been using their picks and great scouts to draft great young talent to keep the blues in a position of strength.

With all that said the deal you proposed would not happen. The blues do not like attitudes like kessel have they ship those players out. (stewart, perron, ect) We don't need centers. The blues are hitting on all cylinders right not and made your boys look like a second teir team. They do not need to make a trade. And the trade you proposed does not make them better. Sorry big no.

Also there would be salary cap issues. Tarasenko is due for a huge payraise next year. Just doesn't make sense for the blues. Fabbri will be on a entry level deal for 1 million. but will play like kadri-light. so sorry but huge no

You can laugh at me all you want. But all I was offering is why this trade doesn't make sense. When and if kessel gets traded we will see what he commands. Seguin and spezza got far less than what this poster proposed.

This trade would never happen.
