I agree with you about RStrome but I don't see the Islanders doing it, I do see Kessel one way or another being a Islander this summer, its a fit with Tavares and there are a lot of Players the Leafs should like on the Islanders

Pinball, do you have OCD? What's with this obsession of sending Kessel to the Isles, a team that clearly doesn't need him? You post a trade between the two teams every friggin day, and none of them are any good. The main reason they're not any good is because the ISLES don't NEED KESSEL! What successful team has built up a collection of strong prospects, risen in the standings, and then traded away a bunch of their best for one good (and older) player? If anything, it sets then back. They get a decent year or two, providing they can fill the spots they've opened up due to the trade with suitable replacements, and then the slide starts again because they moved out the bulk of their future. Get with it, man, the deal isn't there. It makes sense for the leafs only, and I hate to break it to you but the leafs don't dictate whether a deal gets done or not. It takes both teams. And the isles would never agree to this or any of the minimally-different proposals you keep conjuring up out of thin air.

If the isles aren't willing to give up a key piece like r strome, I don't see the leafs making the trade, Kessel had a down year, but he is still one of the best pure snipers out there and they won't trade him unless they get what they want in return
