Avalanche would want Chabot in any trade for Duchene.
Duchene is a good player, and I know Colorado had a horrible year., but. he still didn't get 20 goals or even 45 points. I think whoever gets him, i'd going to have to way over pay for a 2nd tier star.

Chabot isn't going anywhere. he's the next star in the making. he's averaging in the playoffs over a point a game with saint john sea dogs (18 pts including 5 goals in 14 games) . i'm sorry but sens are going to keep chabot any day if colorado is going to ask for him.

Guaranteed if ottawa lands a duchesne trade it will not involve Chabot and will involve Ceci.

1- duchesne already on record now saying he wants out of colorado which drops his value as teams know he wants to go.

2- ottawa needs to move a top 4 defenceman before Vegas draft so they don't lose em for nothing.

Most I see happening if sackic is lucky, is
duchesne for Ceci, dzingle, and a 1st in 2017, maybe add rights to kelly.
