The gudbransson one might be possible because Canucks want young players with upside and apparently the Canucks traded him back to Florida on the weekend for Jason demers before demers blocked it and was dealt to Arizona instead. The Komorov one, an Expiring contract on a 31 year old role playing 3rd liner does not get you one of the ducks top prospects. And where the hell is tanner glass going to play? Leafs have players like soshnikov, leivo and kapanen without a spot to play. Why sign another plug?

Yup are you kidding me? Ritchie won't ever put up 50 points in a season and you're comparing him to marner? i'd say komarov and cogliano are very comparable players in terms of value.

Do Anaheim accept the trade probably not but damn its not like a slam dunk NO like a cogliano for marner.

It's a hell no from the ducks, but Ritchie is not marner lol I'm a leaf fan, but I don't think you have to be a leaf fan to value marner higher. Ritchie is the type of prospect leafs fans got excited about 3-4 years ago. Freddy Gauthier, Tyler Biggs etc. Ritchie should be better than those guys for sure but he wouldn't be top 5 or 6 prospects on the leafs. Marner would be top or second on just about every team in the league.

Matthews, marner, nylander, brown, zaitsev, kapanen, lilejgren. all have one nhl season or less under their belt and I would take everyone of them over Ritchie in a one for one at the moment (maybe not Kap. ) still makes home 5th 6th or 7th.
