I think Ottawa might do this trade:
Ott: Ceci, 2nd, Nick Paul
Colorado: Duchene

As a sens fan, I would take this and run. but to be honest, if sakics demands are as high as I believe you would have to replace Nick Paul with a legit top prospect. I'm okay with that as long as the names aren't Chabot or white, and the 2nd would likely have to be a first. otherwise sakic likely holds off, Duchene has this year and next on his contract. not really as much pressure for sakic to accept a low ball offer, yet imo.

Not enough from sens, at least make the 2nd a 1st and it's not bad but still probably not enough. Nick Paul is nothing special and probably has no value so Ceci and a late 2nd isn't close to Duchene.

Lindss please don't post again. Chabot is going nowhere.

Duchesne is a class 3 forward under the likes of mcdavid and Crosby, and taresenko and toews. He will not get what sakic thinks he can get for him though it will take more than what is here.

I'm thinking Ceci, chlapic, and a first rounder will get it done. Get on that Dorian.
