Canucks: Tanev and Gudbranson
Maple Leafs: Timothy Liljegren and conditional 2 round pick. If maple leafs go to conference finals it becomes first. Also if they sign gudbranson canucks get another 3rd round pick in 2019

Not going to happen tanev alone could get Liljegren by add guddy they would have to many d man vanek well get way better offers this year he has 31 points in 44 games and if you look at his playoff stats there pretty good.

Tanev alone does not get Lilijegreen. Even with Giddy its still a no from Tor. Lilijegreen was the steal at the draft and he will be if not better as good as EK.

Lilijegreen will not be close to EK there is no way I’ve watched him play on multiple occasions and he has many faults and his offensive game dosent make up for it. He didn’t even stand out at the world Juniors dmen like Dahlen, Makar, Timmons and Mete looked atleast a class above him. Also I’d take that deal Maybe Lilijgreen will be better offensively Tanev would help us out a lot.

The problem with this trade is not value. I'm sure it's not that far in value atm since Lilijegree is not porvem yet but when you draft a guy like him, with that much potential and then you get rid of him a couple months after to fix an instant need history has always shown that you will eventually lose the trade. i'm thinking of a guy like Forsberg ( 13 overall for Erat) . And it's not like either of those player will put them over the top. So I believe that Leafs should develop this young RHD since he fits with the age group core.
