I'm really confused about Patches value. One trade I proposed too much for Patches, then I try to fix that and its not enough for him. I'm going to make my last proposal and really tought it threw so hopefully you guys think it's good for both teams involved:

Mtl: Patches, 2 rd pick 2018

CCY: Anderson,Bennett,1 rd pick 2018

Hopefully this one is better. We got the young center and the first in they're.Anderson I really like as a D prospect

This is better absolutely, just I imagine flames don’t do this unless they were going on a cup run imo and I don’t believe they are, and if flames are giving up that much I do think they will try and get a RW to play on that top line. But this is a better trade!

I don't know anything about Anderson, Buck. who is he.?
As for Bennett, he scares me lol. He's still young, and has a lot of potential. however, we have been saying that about Galchenyuk forever now.
I guess when It comes to trading Patches. it's really hard to judge his value. like you said.
I think this is better than some, forsure., I would want to know more about Anderson.

Tough crowd on this site for sure!

Calgary has no first rounder in 2018 so that poses an immediate problem to the proposal. 2018 1st and 2nd belong to the NYI.

Bennett I don't think is enough to start conversations as he has ranged from bust to productive, back to bottom 6 and next? Who knows. Too much inconsistency to be a center piece. Montreal from what I've read wants someone that can be a first line center in a few years, and Bennett does not appear to be headed in that direction.

Sorry, I don't see Calgary having the assets necessary to get Paccoretti this year. I think other teams will offer more value in a trade than Bennett.

Personally I think the habs will dangle patches for Dubois and even add if needed. A French kid with size, center with more potential than Bennett to be a real top 6 center.

No 1st hey? If that's the case, ya no deal Did they use that to get Hamonic? Anyway, I like the Dubois idea, but it would be pretty hard to get him. Did hear the panel on HNIC talking about it during Habs/ Bruins game on Sat.

I agree I want PLD lol. Sorry for late response Sosa but yea Rasmus Anderson is a sweaden RHD prospect who is a slick puck mover with a solid shoot. I really think he can become a really good player and is the main piece I the trade.

From CGY: NO! Not that I wouldn’t want patches but where would he fit? He’s not a right shot RW, just another LW. We already have Gaudreau and Tkachuk in our top 6 so Patches would be a 3rd line LW. And that’s not worth the price for just 1-1/ 2 years even if we had our 1st.

For those that asked, Rasmus Andersson is a right shooting right D that plays a very strong 2-way game and is tearing up the AHL. He’s NHL ready and will likely be in the line up next year. I wouldn’t trade him for much, definitly not for Patches. I would consider Bennett for Patches straight up but CGY would need assurances that he can find his form again. If not CGY gets back a 2nd rnd pick. Bennett has turned it around but as a winger, he’s not developing as hoped as a C; similar to Galchenyuk.
