I'd love to add nurse or klefbom but not at the cost of those other two. plus habs are not the most offensively gifted team in the league but this trade probably makes them the worse.

After Lucic’ performance in LA the other night, I can’t see him being traded for a bag of picks now. The only thing he could possibly still be good at, he refuses to do. He was brought in to protect the stars, and he won’t even do that anymore. He has negative value. Edmonton can’t afford enough prospects to pay another team to take him off their hands. A buyout is the best option there.

I’m not 100% if I’m right here but a buyout would cost 4M for 8 more years if the Oil did it at the end of this season. 2/ 3rds of his salary for twice the remaining years left. Buyout is definitely not an option.

never lucic to slow bad contract give them alzner would not make up for it he is worse the alzner.
