Why does virtually every proposal involving Hamilton include Ferland too? Lol. Just cause they went to Carolina as a package doesn’t mean they have to leave together too.

Carolina definitely makes this trade. Very similar package that landed Carolina Hamilton and Ferland in the first place. Considering how well Hanifin is doing in Calgary, you got to wonder if Waddell is regretting that trade yet. I have a hunch that if Dubas trades Dermott for Hamilton in a couple years Leafs would be regretting it too.

LeafsGM if asking price on Ferland is a 1st and a prospect and Carolina thinks they can get that at the deadline I don’t think they make this deal tbh.

You think Ferland is worth a 1st +? I’m not convinced he is worth so much. Two concussions this year. He would only be third line on Leafs monster truck of a team.
