Hayes to Wpg would make some sense.
Stay away from Duschene. He puts up points but he’s not a winner.
Wpg: 2nd
NYR: Hayes

Is it Duchene? Or is it the team? The same argument can be made for Karlsson. He consistently achieved incredible success as an individual, but the team as a whole wasn’t consistently successful. Duchene might not like the changes he’s seeing in Ottawa. He left Av’s because he was unhappy being part of a rebuilding team. It sure looks like Ottawa is in a rebuild now of some sort themselves. Will he be satisfied knowing that by the time Ottawa is contenders, he may no longer have a role on the team?

I would think the Rangers would want more. Probably more than the Jets want to pay.

If the Jets are going to make a trade with the Sens I would rather they go after Stone as he and Scheifele have shown they have great chemistry playing together in the past at the Worlds and Juniors. Just don't give up too much as he would be just a rental.

Obviously some of it is Duchene, he leaves Colorado and they take off but they couldn’t win with him. Ottawa just compounds it with them being a dumpster fire.
