DHamilton hasn't worked out for the Canes so this to me would be a good Trade for both Teams.

Personally, to me anyway, 8+ years of Dermott or Kapanen is worth more than 1.5 years of Hamilton. That’s just my opinion though. Feel free to disagree. In two years, or less, I really think Leafs would regret this trade, same as I think Waddell will regret trading Lindholm and Hanifin for Hamilton and Ferland.

Spooner, Hanifin, Lindholm are playing absolutely fantastic hockey on their new teams. Every single one of them is breaking out to career highs. Same thing happened to Hainsey when he left. The old man is playing outstanding hockey now. I think it’s obvious that big changes need to come in Carolina.

Dermott would be a Defenceman any Team would ask for in a Trade with the Leafs, Bracco is getting better and better is almost at a point a game in the AHL and getting a 1st Round Pick this year in a deep Draft is what any Team Trading would ask for, everyone on here can have there own opinion but I think it's fair in mine.

Best change for Carolina would be to move to Quebec City lol. Or back to Hartford!

However Gary won't let that happen, I agree LeafsGM. big changes are needed, from top to bottom. other than Slavin, Svechnikov and Aho, all should be on the block.
I do think however, if ya want to get over the hump, you may have to sacrifice someone like Kappanen in a deal for Hamilton.
It's the old saying, to make money, ya got to spend money. Hamilton would be a good fit on the Leafs Blue Line.

Redwing. your the one who thinks your prospects are all grade A and players all elite. Bracco may be Rattie 2.0 or he could be much better. Leading AHL in assists and I think points. Give him a chance to prove whether he is Rattie or something much better. You toot Kyrous horn but what has he accomplished. nothing. But I won't label him as something he hasn't proven yet.

Bracco and Kyrou have almost identical seasons in the AHL with the difference being Kyrou 11 NHL games and he’s scored more goals and fewer assists. Call out Redwing all you want for hyping Kyrou but if you’re claiming Bracco is better you’re doing the same thing. Bracco leads AHL in assists 8 back in points because he’s around 150th in goals. Bracco is having a great season but in half the games Kyrou has twice as many goals and almost as many points as Bracco did in his rookie year last year.

Jbs32, never said Bracco was better. Please reread what I said. Nowhere does it say he is better. I was stating that Bracco and Kyrou haven't had the chance to prove themselves yet, so calling Bracco Rattie 2.0 is a garbage statement. And this is Braccos 1st season getting minutes with the Marlies. But again, I never said Bracco was better.

But @JBS, no one really calls out Colt for hyping Kyrou, we call him out for his ridiculous Tarasenko, Petro, etc. posts. If Bracco can even be compared to Kyrou, despite being a +1 in the AHL, that does say something about him as a prospect, Kyrou's ranked extremely high by many in the NHL World and is a legitimate top 20-30 prospect ranked by numerous sources.

I get that Bracco is in his +1 year, but still, if his stats, in terms of playmaking at least, are nearly identical to Kyrou, at his age, that's pretty good territory. Certainly better than calling Bracco 'Rattie 2.0' and 'Non-Quality'.

I’m not saying his evaluation of Bracco is accurate. Never said that. But Kyrou is the better prospect, it’s not hard to see that. Only reason I brought it up because in the same post cherry brought up Bracco, he brought up Kyrou outta nowhere to attack redwings homerism and talent evaluation. Nobody’s going to deny he’s a homer, but the whole don’t talk about Bracco because you tout Kyrou and he hasn’t done anything thing is just as ridiculous.

Calling Bracco Rattie 2.0 is the ridiculous statement. Allt of great hockey players have come from late picks. who knows Bracco could be one of them, or maybe not. I’m absolutely not missing the point. I know what you were doing, and I’m a Tampa fan I obviously understand that late pick doesn't mean anything once it’s made and the player starts playing. You literally said he touts Kyrou whose done nothing. Well you tout Bracco whose done less. Everyone knows he’s a homer, you don’t need to call him out by making equally dumb statements. And Bracco very well could be Rattie 2.0, there’s as much reason to think he will be as there is reason to think he won’t at this point, It’s not a dumb statement because you disagree with it, I’m sure there are some people paid a lot of money to evaluate talent that agree in thinking his skills won’t translate to NHL. Doesn’t mean they’re right but doesn’t mean they’re wrong either it’s like me saying Barre-Boulet is a stud and someone else saying he’ll never translate to NHL. Right now both are equally valid the difference in opinion is what allows trades to be made.

Rattie did more in junior and in all than bracco did. They have similar games and size. It never translated to the Nhl. The reason I brought up bracco is cause he seems to be a throw in to every trade now with multiple lesser pieces for a really nice quality player. My grip is this whole quantity for quality trip that leaf fans are on. I don't care if you all like on me saying i am a homer. I am making legit points.
