Carolina would be looking at this type of Trade if they do decide to Trade DHamilton, Hainsey paired back with Faulk still gives them a solid Defense only thing is Hainseys age and expiring contract that's why Liljegren and the Draft Picks have to be added in the Deal.

Leafs get there Defenceman that everyone insists they need on the backend, yes some of the future is sacrificed but well worth it getting a 25yr old solid Defenceman having an off year.

I'm not a big fan of Hamilton but I believe that Carolina would want a better roster player coming back in a package than Hainsey.

Ok swap Dermott for Hainsey and get rid of the 4th Round Pick so it would be.

I think this looks damn close compared to everything else. Maybe they want a forward instead of Hainsey, but it wouldn't be KK or anyone of that caliber.
