Before anyone digs me on this Trade I want to point out in JR with the Erie Otters McDavid and CBrown played together and where outstanding tandem, so I do believe it would be the Winger Edmonton would be interested in.

For the Leafs why not add more talent when you can, Edmonton is desperate and Puljujarvi hasn't worked out for the Oilers.

Thoughts ?

I get your reasoning Pinball. however, many times, Jr success doesn't lead to NHL success. i'm actually trying to think of an example where 2 guys in Jr, who tore it up, replicated that in NHL. if that was the case. sure Habs/ Oilers woulda wanted Yakupov and Galchenyuk together.
I think Oilers are going to want a more established player tor Pul. he may not ever become a star, but I think it's to early for Oil to give up on him, unless part of a deal for a significant peice.

I like the idea of getting brown but thereâ€™s no way oil should accept this offer for PuljujÃ¤rvi.

I read somewhere that Brown is currently playing fourth line for leafs . sure the price canâ€™t be that much.

What about Kassian for Brown. gives Leafs some toughness on the 4th line.

This trade doesn't really help either team brown is not a 1st liner and puljujarvi is not bumping anyone off torontos top two lines right now.

I proposed that last week Sosa but added a 2nd to the leafs because Brown is younger and more productive than Kassian. Some thought maybe a 3/ 4 pick was more appropriate.

#sosahabs24, it's going back many years but Bobby Clarke and Reggie Leach tore it up in JR and once Leach was Traded to Philly the magic continued.
So yes it can continue in the NHL.
