WPG: Ehlers, 3rd Round 2020
EDM: RNH, Puljujärvi

Jets get a 2C and hope to spark Puljujärvi by reuniting him with Laine. Oilers get a top 6 LW to play with McDavid and also a pick for the difference in value. With Ehlers they get 6 years of term vs RNH's 2 years, both have the same cap hit.

Thoughts?

In two years RNH is going to want $9/ 10 mil per while Ehlers is still going to have 4 years left at $6 mil. Pully will want way more money than he deserves. The Jets shouldn't do this trade at all.

If they trade RnH they need a new 2C.

Draisatl had 50 goals last year and and marner got 67 in his entire career.
