I don't think a 2nd line winger and a bottom pairing d-man is worth a young, physical, top pairing d-man like Dumba.

Isn’t Kapanen a 3rd liner on the leafs? Or maybe a fringe second liner would be better to say, but he’s not a bona fide t6 guy. And Ceci is a 6th dman at best making top4 money so he detracts some of Kapanen’s value.

So, long story short, this isn’t even remotely close on any level.

Retain on ceci and add a 1st would be closer but no idea why Minnesota would do that.

Ceci is also a free agent this summer. So if he leaves then this is Kapanen for Dumba and I highly doubt minessota does that.
