Sharks get younger, cheaper (even with 25% retained) top 4 defenseman who may or may not have been burnt out by the Sens. Three decent prospects and a 2nd rounder to compensate SJS for eating 25%. Dorion swings for the fences in what could be his last year. EK has home here and the talent for a cup run is now there.

I wouldn't do it if I were ottawa. Karlsson chose to leave, and left all stinky about it. everything would revolve around him, he would be a cancer to the dressing room.
