NYR owner is not very patient and with NYR signing Wheeler. Why not trade for his buddy Scheifele. The reason for Schneider being included is that it's either him or a 1st RD pick.
Chytil may not be as good Offensively as Scheifele but matches size and is better defensively.
Hellebuyck is a huge question mark.

Also think the Winnipeg Jets should sign Nolan Patrick

They both need new starts.
Patrick closer to home. And well Max Comtois would bring size and toughness back to the team.
Winnipeg Jets were a good team last year but played way too soft. They need toughness, grit, sandpaper type players.
As of right now the Jets fate will be a repeat of last year or a little worse.

I sadly agree with MuzzaO1 view on how the Jets played last few seasons.
I think this trade is fair for both teams and I like the free agent signing of Patrick.
Scheifele needs a change and Heinola needs a fair chance which he would get in NY.

Rangers didn't wanna give up Schneider for Eichel, I doubt they trade him for Scheifele.

NotACasual the biggest difference between Scheifele and Eichel is that Eichel may never of played again from his neck injury and Scheifele scored 43 goals last season and is $4 mil per year cheaper. That is why the win now Rangers might do this trade.

As nice as the trade looks for Winnipeg, I think there is almost no chance the Rangers trade Schneider.
