Lot of fans of the leaf want mcdavid but if I had to bet I think that Calgary or Ottawa have bether chance of getting him! Cause Calgary is by far Now the wickest team in the nhl even Buffalo bether Now with those change and Ottawa cause the market there need a star player like him to get This organisation a new start, we might see the same thing in Lemieux year! let's face it leafs fan you're ranking is always close of making the playoff just like the habs are a playoff team only since 15 years!by playoff team I mean they cannot get to the next level that is championship team!

I think he'll end up in Carolina. They did practically nothing to improve their team so far. Canucks and Flames bolstered their goaltending at least so they're at least less "up the creek" than before the draft/free agency. Ottawas chances, I think, basically depend on which versions of Anderson and Lehner show up next year so there is a chance they slip that far too, but I think it'll be Carolina.

Yeah I Forgot about Carolina! Its pretty bad actually but I think that Islanders are there too! They got tavares but he is like the only thing working there! Damn if Any gm would exchange a star player on a slim chance of getting David. Then he would have some ball cause the bet is there if you don't get it you lose your job or if you get it then you have a longtherm contract waiting

Isles? Highly doubt it. I think the isles will be exponentially better than last season. Their main issues for years have been defense and goaltending. Goaltending has been flipped on its head with the acquisitions of Halak and Johnson. That's a very solid duo. Defense hasn't been fixed to the same degree but Reinhart should make the team this year and while he is a rookie, he's a very solid prospect and should make a difference right away. If they add another guy by FA (or, even better, by trade for more top-tier talent) then they will be a much stronger team. I predict the Isles around 8th or 9th in the East.

Wow if they both have bad seasons, BUF might draft 2 guys in 5 first picks or so. adding to this year's draft that's a solid lineup coming up for them sabres I think
