If I'm GM in Winnipeg, asking price for Kane is a player (preferably a center) who scores 20+ goals per season consistantly, a good prospect, and a first. I don't really like Kane, but I don't trade him for peanuts just because of his attitude.

So you want a player about as good as him, a prospect and a first? Usually teams take a little bit of a loss trading there big players.

lets be real here. kane is no super star, he puts up like 60 poins in a full season, good but far from great. he'll probably get like a 3rd liner and 1st round pick, anything more and your're way overpaying for a guy who really isn't that good.
