What teams would show the most interest in Kessel? Just curious

It's unlikely he gets traded but if so I could see New Jersey showing interest.

Tough call. His cap hit makes it difficult for contending teams to add him (unless Toronto took back/kept salary) and it would be a contending team that would benefit most from having him. As has been evident Kessel needs to be isolated by a better team around him, so I think you can count out any of the building teams.

I never said they'd be able to do it but I just feel they'd be interested. And a lot of teams want him, but don't want to give up the pieces it would take. Trading for him to fill one hole leaves a larger hole somewhere else, which is why I don't expect him or any other big name to get traded. Toronto is expecting a lot in a return for him as they should but other teams won't give that up.
