To be fair, goalies have a much different trade value than defensemen, especially top 4 guys. That being said it's still way off. If this was a mid-late 1st round pick then it would be more fair.

The last person the Flames would trade off their roster is Brodie. Easily their best D man. Personally; I would love to see Johnny Hockey be dealt. He lacks stamina, strength and grit. Afraid of the corners and afraid to rough it up. Usually returns back to the bench holding a different part of his body each time, and is rather LAZY at times. Go out and does a quick little skate and then returns back to the bench. Good for 3 on 3's; but outside of that. he's a no go. Get rid of Bauma, Chaison, Brower, Wideman, and the coach Gullickson. He's useless as well.

actually i think no from calgary. people seem to overrate kadri and gardiner and their 1st does not make up for it. i'd say
Bennett > Gardiner, 1st
Hamilton > Kadri
maybe add Marner, 1st if u want a 50point 6'6 23yr old defender, and a physical, fast 20 yr old center with upside and potential.
