Ok, the sens are terrible at the moment and I think they need a few changes.

First, I believe that they are missing a complete defenceman to play alongside Erik Karlsson.
Trade 1 - OTT: Harpur, Nick Paul, 2019 3rd
NYI: Nick leddy

Second, they are missing a winger to play alongside duchene and ryan.
Trade 2 - OTT: Wideman (healthy), Smith,
2018 4th
VGK: James Neal
1. Hoffman-Brassard-Stone
2. Ryan-Duchene-Neal
3. Pyatt-Pageau-Dzingel
4. Thompson- Burrows

1. Karlsson Leddy
2. Ceci Chabot
3. Phaneuf Claesson Borowiecki

1.) 23 Nov 2017 03:34:31
Lol two guys I've never heard about + a 3rd for a top line Dman
And the second one. Vegas aren't going to trade their first goal scorer for 2bottom line player.

2.) 23 Nov 2017 04:02:46
Then you must be an ignorant habs fan. Btw, your feedback means nothing to me. I've seen your posts hahaha

3.) 23 Nov 2017 05:06:06
Ya both teams say heck no.
Start with at least a 1st for Neal and for Vegas build.
And that's not enough for NYI to even consider.
These favor Sens insanely. Sorry.

4.) 23 Nov 2017 05:12:39
Umm, crazy dude, paul is literally are a c prospect, maybe b if your pushing it. paul is a goon and harper is a 28 year old replacement level player. if that plus a third equals to a "a complete defenceman to play alongside Erik Karlsson" you don't know what your talking about.

5.) 23 Nov 2017 05:58:01
Ottawa wins these by a landslide
Like it’s terrible for the other teams
Why would NYI give up a top 4 d for basically nothing
And Vegas would give up there too scorer for so depth players.

17 Nov 2017 02:13:06
NYR: Grabner
Ottawa: Wideman, 5th

1.) 17 Nov 2017 03:35:54
Hahaha huuge no from NYR.

2.) 17 Nov 2017 13:55:09
I like the concept but i think we could do a bit better for a 26 yr old who was the best D in the AHL 2 yrs ago, but the base is right for us, we do need to move a D for a depth FWD.

29 Oct 2017 21:19:56
Ottawa: Dzingel, Claesson, 2nd

Colorado: Duchene

1.) 30 Oct 2017 15:13:21
Pree bad for Avs.

22 Oct 2017 23:46:54
With Bobby Ryan out for a month with a broken finger, sens can make this HYPOTHETICAL TRADE

Ottawa: Claesson, Chlapik, 2018 3rd
Vegas: Neal, 2018 6th

1.) 23 Oct 2017 05:48:13
I think Vegas trading Neal at this point of the season would send the wrong message to the Fan base. I don't think it's horrible however.

2.) 23 Oct 2017 20:51:51
I agree and disagree with ya Sosa.
They have gotten off to an amazing start which probably their own fans weren't expecting.
But the plan all along has been to build through the draft and prospects. So if they trade Neal for picks and prospects I don't think the fan base should get made, That's what was to be expected all along.
I do think Neal is worth a little more than this? Maybe a higher pick than the 3rd or a better prospect.
But maybe his value is higher now tbt is early as a team would have him majority of the year rather than at deadline.
I do think he is a fantastic pick up for whoever bids the highest.

3.) 23 Oct 2017 21:10:49
All these sens fans with crazy trades.

4.) 23 Oct 2017 23:49:20
You as a Habs fan can not talk about bad trades on here. You guys are hysterical on here lately. Way more so than Sens fans. Senskill is super nuts tho.

5.) 24 Oct 2017 00:19:48
I totally get what you are saying Yup. Your the Vegas guy. are they educated about this sort of thing down there? From what u have seen. Neal would be a great pick up for anyone forsure. for me, I see him as a great fit in your Oilers.

6.) 24 Oct 2017 05:49:40
I haven't been able to get down for a game yet since the season started! 😩 So I'm not exactly sure. But they are for sure really taking hockey up. It's a face paces sport they are really getting into big time. Faster pace than football, baseball and basketball. I've read lots of people say they can't believe they didn't get into hockey sooner. But not exactly how educated they are to give much info.
Was hoping to go before Christmas. But for the first Oilers game Sat Jan 13 for sure.
Neal would be a perfect rental for any playoff team but I'm biased and believe perfectly for my Oilers. Haha. Way better getting him as a rental instead of reading Nuge maybe + for Patches in my opinion.
Then trading Nuge for cap reasons after the season for whatever we can get (not big cap coming back tho) and trying to maybe persuade Neal to resign reasonable price. But I'm just dreaming with that one.

7.) 25 Oct 2017 00:54:38
Fast paced**!
They love it down there. The team winning is absolutely helping the buzz! I love it. Love Vegas. Hah.

22 Sep 2017 01:27:02
I think Ottawa might do this trade:
Ott: Ceci, 2nd, Nick Paul
Colorado: Duchene

1.) 22 Sep 2017 17:10:47

2.) 22 Sep 2017 17:50:36
As a sens fan, I would take this and run. but to be honest, if sakics demands are as high as I believe you would have to replace Nick Paul with a legit top prospect. I'm okay with that as long as the names aren't Chabot or white, and the 2nd would likely have to be a first. otherwise sakic likely holds off, Duchene has this year and next on his contract. not really as much pressure for sakic to accept a low ball offer, yet imo.

3.) 22 Sep 2017 19:27:32
Not enough from sens, at least make the 2nd a 1st and it's not bad but still probably not enough. Nick Paul is nothing special and probably has no value so Ceci and a late 2nd isn't close to Duchene.

4.) 24 Sep 2017 00:31:16
Lindss please don't post again. Chabot is going nowhere.

Duchesne is a class 3 forward under the likes of mcdavid and Crosby, and taresenko and toews. He will not get what sakic thinks he can get for him though it will take more than what is here.

I'm thinking Ceci, chlapic, and a first rounder will get it done. Get on that Dorian.

5.) 27 Sep 2017 20:45:46
Chabot, White, and Logan will not be included in trade for Duchene.

Ott: Ceci, 2nd, Nick Paul
Colorado: Duchene.

Vegas has selected to take methot from the sens in the expansion draft.

This is very frustrating from a sens fan since we had the opportunity to trade phaneuf, trade ceci, but instead we lose our second most valuable d man for nothing smh.

Therefore, I hope Dorion doesn't win GM or the year

1.) 22 Jun 2017 03:45:02
And the habs get rid of emelin and I couldn't be happier lol.

2.) 22 Jun 2017 04:58:20
Ya, however woulda been happier if they took Plekanec. And say what ya wnat bout Emelin, but this is the 3rd Dman gone from the team in less than a week. i'm glad we keep Davidson, but. something else has to happen.

3.) 22 Jun 2017 13:18:45
The actual need on defense remains the same as it did since last year. another top pairing dman. this hasn't changed with the moves they have made so far. beaulieu had his chances in that spot and so did emelin. sergachev may develop into one but even he took a step backwards in his development last year. Essentially they got rid of 2 expensive dman that can be IMO easily replaced internally if worse comes to worse. and a prospect.

14 May 2017 15:51:51
Ottawa senators 2017-2018 team:

(5th line)

Ottawa defence after expansion draft:

(give away ceci to LV)

Thoughts on the team, free agency and possible trades?

1.) 15 May 2017 00:37:51
Stalberg wouldn't resign if Wingels is there.

I'd 100% rather keep Ceci than Methot. Methot is good no doubt, but Ceci is younger, and his play in the playoffs has made me like him.

As for free agency, I could see Ottawa possibly taking a run at someone like Sam Gagnee for the third line. Him/ Pageau could be interchangable centres. With Dorion at the helm however, I don't really see many major spalshes.

2.) 15 May 2017 01:02:29
Chabot is a LD.
Methot has I think one more year left. I think leave Chabot down in AHL one more year and hopefully then in a year or two Chabot takes the slot with Karlsson?
Chabot/ Karlsson could be so good in two seasons from now. Maybe.
My hope to see anyways.

04 May 2017 00:26:14
Ott: Ceci, 1st 2017
Tampa: Drouin

1.) 04 May 2017 03:52:28
No thanks. If Tampas trading Drouin they need a legit top 4 puck moving RHD. And a good one. Might be able to argue value is there but a late first in a weak draft doesn't help Tampa they need the value in the Dman.

2.) 04 May 2017 11:30:01
Value is not there, imo.
If Drouin goes, a top end D will come the other way. As I said before, Drouin is an elite talent coming through atm. Not even sure I'd give up Johnson for Ceci, let alone Drouin.

3.) 04 May 2017 16:50:39

I think Drouin is good, but I don't think hell get what you think hell get. He may get a Larsson kind of trade return, but I can't see a Lindholm or someone like him moving for Drouin.

4.) 04 May 2017 21:02:08
Hall>Drouin anyways.

Drouin is not elite. He's good probably little better than good. But not elite. Bit biased there.

5.) 05 May 2017 18:00:10
Drouin is definitely an elite talent, that's what I'm saying. Definitely and without any bias whatsoever. He may not play at an elite level consistently yet, I give you that. But no way to take away his elite talent.

6.) 05 May 2017 18:48:27
Very good talent*. Not elite.
Maybe will get to elite, but not as of right now.
I understand he's on your team tho so that would be a little bias coming through saying he is elite.
Hall WAS elite at one point, for two years when he was too 10 in scoring. Now back down to just very good.
Same with Gaudreau, was elite for a year or two now back to jist very good after tbis season
Same with Giroux. Same with the Sedins.
Get where I'm going with this?
Twrasenko is elite. P. Kane is elite. Getzlaf is elite. Stamkos is elite. Tavares is elite.

04 Apr 2017 03:13:04
Sens have not got a win in their last 5 games. What do you guys suggest we do, whether that'd be right now or in the transfer window

1.) 04 Apr 2017 06:32:49
What exactly is the transfer window?

Anyway, there's not much that can be done this late in the year other than maybe a line shakeup, which probably wouldn't do much.

2.) 04 Apr 2017 12:49:40
The sens have been overachieving all year because of a very defensive system and above average goaltending. Their top 4 is basically Karlsson and then 3 #4-5 defenseman. The only guys putting up numbers up front are Stone, Turris, and Hoffman, and they aren't putting up enough for that to be the case.

They need a retool, and should never have traded Zibby for Brassard. Also, Chabot better be ready next year, they'll need him when Methot gets taken by Vegas.

3.) 04 Apr 2017 16:09:51
I agree with McRazzle, they have been over achieving, I thinknthe coach has got the most out if his players and although he won't win, should get some Jack Adams nominations.
The Sens are a mysterious team, and still could upset someone in the playoffs. Andersen is capable of stealing a round.

4.) 04 Apr 2017 16:59:03
they should bring some kids up from Ahl and sit some under performing vets, This may spark some competition for the end of season and maybe into training camp.

5.) 04 Apr 2017 18:09:26
Don't get me wrong, I love the sens and Boucher has done a heck of a job but they have little to no firepower or depth (offensive or defensive) . If Tom Pyatt and Chris Kelly can have regular playing time that should be enough proof. Also, acquiring guys like Burrows (really hate this deal), Stalberg, and Wingels was a sad attempt at adding offense. Especially when Stalberg was gotten for the same as Vanek.

They will never be taken seriously until Melnyk sells the team and a real GM takes over, as Dorion has lost every trade he's made so far (except maybe the lazar trade)

02 Apr 2017 04:51:12
The senators defence looks very weak with all the injuries

Line 1 : Phaneuf---Wideman
Line 2 : Borowiecki---Claesson
Line 3: Jokipakka---Call-up

Before he got traded, I wanted Micheal Stone to reunite with his bro in Ottawa. Would he have worked for Lazar and a fifth.
