Joulevi is not worth way more the that. Joulevi is only a year younger and can’t even crack the Canucks blue line where as Johnsson is a top 6 forward currently playing 1st line on the leafs. Joulevi for Puljujarvi could be a good swap maybe Canucks add a sweetener.

Juolevi IS worth way more then that. It’s not that he hasn’t been good enough to crack the lineup, it’s that he keeps getting injured before he has the chance to try. I’m fact, he had an incredible start to last season and was looking like a sure thing to crack the Canucks roster before injury struck.
If you don’t know anything about the player (in this case Juolevi) then don’t include them in your proposals because it makes you look clueless. Well more so then you already do.
Do research before you want to throw someone into your rubbishty proposal and then rubbish talk them because you were told your idea sucked.

if pens pulled off that trade they'd have insane center depth, and i'd be interested to see what pul would do with crosby or malkin.

No from Van on both. Beartschi is a proven 2nd line guy who’s having some bad injury luck, he’s got a helluva lot more value than Pulj who’s threatening to return to Europe unless he gets trades, who says he doesn’t do that again if it doesn’t work out with his next team as well? Nah, Pulj is a headache I want to avoid.
And the second one is a no too. Any package involving the 10th and Virtanen (who finally started showing some real growth last year) with be for a younger defensemen like Risto or Ghost.

Baertchi the guy that has never played more than 69 games and 35 points has a helluva lot more value than Puljujarvi? No thanks from Edmonton. Puljujarvi to Europe gives Edmonton a second chance at properly developing him.
