Agree with BJ. Do you want a top d prospect who will be a legitimate top 2 dman, or do you want an already proven, experienced guy who is already in his 30s in Weber. Why trade somebody who is under 20 for somebody 10 years older. Makes no sense.

Why on Earth would Boston want Plekanec? So Bergeron and Krejci are your 1,2. You still have Spooner who had a deccent year as possibly your number 3. Then they sign Backes who can play wing but is still a C. And no Plekanec to play on the 4th line? Boston would make Montreal overpay since there rivals. honestly, i think weber will age in relatively the same way chara and pronger did. that is, very well and remain effective into his later 30s. he'll slow down and certainly won't be as good as he is right now in 5 or so years, but i think he'll still be a very effective player for quite a few more years.

It might, it might not, Libor Hajek, the players used to pick with the 37th traded to Tampa Bay might also be a great player, they rave about his 2way ability, but again, I'm sure Deangelo will thrive in Arizona's weak Defense prospect corps, especially being RHD and a possible pairing with OEL or a player called Jakob CHYCHRUN.

Petro is underrated he is a real good dman if you can see him play a lot you will see that he is 2 way dman not a top notch offensive dman but in my opion that don't matter. But Shattenkirk is extremely overated I don't think he is a top 50 nhl dman he can play power play and 3/ 4 dman if someone trades for him to be there number 1 they will be let down.

Many many years ago Edm owner used the name Seattle to get the new Arena built. The owner has a lot of his own money invested in the arena. There is absolutely 0 chance of Edm moving to Seattle. Seattle doesn't even have an NHL sized arena.
