The Leafs really do have to consider this trade defense is a weakness and Marriner wants a huge raise we can't afford

Josi signs a 8 year 8.5 m contact
Marriner signs a 8 year 10 m contract

I wouldn't trade Marner at all if I were Leafs . Ya, they may have Mathews, but Marner will he the legend., on the lines of Keon, Sittler. He will retire a Leaf. or at least should.

Being a top defenseman in the league, josi should be close to 10 if not at or slightly over. Guy is top 5 in the league at his spot.

Josi is real good he's the best dman on a stacked defence team he's getting at least 9mil per and if he doesn't he should fire his agent.
