I think the Golden Knights loose both trades, especially the second one. In my opinion McNabb is the best Player in the trade. The first is at least the compensation for taking on Franzen, so it's basically McNabb + 2x3rds for Sheahan, which in my opinion is an overpayment.

2.) 13 Sep 2017 12:11:45
Edm don't need old Neal.

3.) 13 Sep 2017 22:49:05
Vegas won't be giving up picks.

4.) 14 Sep 2017 00:58:36
Doubtful the wings would be surrendering their 2018 first round pick as well.

5.) 14 Sep 2017 05:34:02
Honestly the Oilers trade has me really intrigued but don't know if the cap will work out.

6.) 14 Sep 2017 13:20:09
When Franzen doesn't hit their cap because of LTIR why are people obsessed with DET giving up a likely top 10 pick to move him?

Lol. Not a chance by Edm. Take out the pics and I still say no. Especially if they sign Franson. Zero need for Green. Maybe they take a shot at Green at deadline for a pick. But don't expect Nuge back in a deal for those two. Wow.

And Arizona is fine at center now after acquiring Stepan.

Buffalo is going with Lehner.

These are bad.

Colorado is trying to collect young assets. Trading 2 picks for 3 players (one of which they placed on waivers last year) doesn't really make sense.

JVR should only be traded for a good upgrade on D in my opinion. If they can't get a Good young D for him I think they will keep him for the playoff run and depending on his demands, possibly re-sign him.

Earlier I would have said habs add, but the longer this duchene thing plays out, that might be the best they get. I'd say the 3rd going back to the habs might not happen though.

2.) 06 Sep 2017 11:34:30
The RW behind Galchenyuk shows your resignation about him😂.

Hahaha why would Arizona take on 2 cap dumps and Sheahan? They're an analytics teams with a good young core comin up. I say hell naw ftom Zona.

2.) 26 Aug 2017 00:04:45
Aside from Tatar being better, he makes over $1million less a year and Detroit is in cap trouble.

3.) 26 Aug 2017 21:13:35
On what planet is Oilers giving more are u serious.

I don't like it from the leafs at all. I know strike still us a ton of potential, but why do we need another center that worst case, doesn't live up to potential, best case creates a log jam with like age players needing big raises. Having matthews, nylander, marner is enough. Use the assets to solve top 4 D gap, not add to our deepest position which is high potential, high skill young forwards.

2.) 15 Aug 2017 17:18:46
Do the Leafs need Strome? The most pressing need is on the backend.

3.) 15 Aug 2017 20:25:15
Lol you leafers are funny, ya sure TO doesn't need Strome, but why on earth would Arizona do that? Terrible for them, can't see JVR resigning there either.

4.) 16 Aug 2017 17:11:16
@Hotguybabes. No one said it was good for coyotes. Just said it doesn't solve the leafs problems. Rather spend assets on what they need, not what they already have in spades. I only commented from leafs perspective because this site is usually about what each fan base wants or thinks. From the coyotes I wouldn't like it either.

Although Toronto has been impressive, they aren't cup contenders yet.
These guys need to go to Chicago., Washington., Pittsburgh at this stage in there career.

2.) 14 Jan 2017 00:19:14
NO

WE don't NEED OLD PLAYERS.

3.) 14 Jan 2017 00:32:35
Why would Toronto want thoes two imo there going to be bottom 3

4.) 14 Jan 2017 03:40:49
It's hard to magine the Leafs being bottom three when they're right around a playoff spot half way through the season. Like, do you expect some epic run of losing?

That said, I agree they don't have any use for Iggy or Doan.

5.) 14 Jan 2017 09:20:58
Shanky, me thinks he meant the players would end up on the 4th line.

6.) 14 Jan 2017 18:28:26
oops, that makes a little more sense.

7.) 15 Jan 2017 02:30:33
No I meant there going to hopfully win 10 of the next 40

Oilers:

J. van Riemsdyk LW ( 4.2 mil x 2 yrs)
J. Gardiner D ( 4.05 mil x 3 yrs)
P. Holland C (1.3 mil x 1 yr)
F. Corrado D ( .600 mil x 1 yr )

Leafs:

L. Draisaitl C ( 1 mil x 2 yrs)
A. Ference D (3.25 mil x 1 yr)
D. Nurse D (1 mil x 1 yr)
N. Yakupov RW ( 2.5 mil x 2 yrs)

LesHabitants

1.) 12 Aug 2016 22:57:01
What a bad trade for the Oilers. Draisaitl and Nurse alone is worth more than what is being offered by the Leafs.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 23:03:39
This has got to be one of the worst like bruh that wouldn't even get Draisaitl.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 23:55:44
Worst proposal I've seen in a while. Please make the call and get it done.

Canadafinest is right!

Rumors has it that Alex Galchenyuk wants to be closer to his buddy Brad who cuts the grass for Babcock. They are very close and went to pre-school together. They bumped into each other over the summer while at the park. Brad was on the swing sets having the time of his life when Alex was swinging on the monkey bars, they locked eyes and have been inseparable ever since.
They do everything together Alex is looking for housing in GTA, with a back yard and grass so Brad can play and work at the same time.

Montreal: Lupul, Cowen and Greening

Toronto: Galchenyuk, Scherbak.
