I agree the canucks need to sell and sell big. Definately move hamhuis and vrbata for prospects/ picks. I would not get rid of edler until the draft. Here is what i would do at the trade deadline
Hamhuis/ higgins ( ret) to florida for 2016 1st
Vrbata/ prust to chicago for 2016 2nd
Hansen+ chi 2016 2nd to tampa for drouin.

Way too much for drouin . He does have potential, but hasn't proved anything. shinkarik has been developing nicely with the comets, and tampa can't afford to take on hamhuis salary without subtracting from their current nhl roster.

Schenn has shown potential top 4 dman when in Tor but has fallen off. Give him one year and see if he can revive his top 4 role. If it doesn't work out, at least your not stuck paying Sbisa $3.6 for next 3 years. Sbisa will never become top 4 but Philly always likes them big.

Actually, this one isn't too bad. Landy is over-hyped and people still think he's a 30 goal guy but he hasn't really done that for a while.

No from Van. Duchene is over-rated and a bit of a tool in the dressing room. He's also 26. Canucks should be rebuilding and Hutton and Tryamkin look like top 4 D already. THen you add a 1st and a 3rd? No chance.

This year's draft, as well as next year's, really suck. Also, how would Wpg handle another RH D man?
Gud is a top 4 D and it might be a fair trade if Wpg. 's pick is in the top 6 or so (pick 4-6 fair on a weak draft. maybe) .
