1.) 22 Feb 2017 16:06:47
Let's frankin hope.
15 Feb 2017 18:22:21
Tom gilbert to capitals for future considerations.
Good move for both teams, La clears cap space and a roster spot, Was gets a depth D for the playoffs.

@ CanucksFan22
Thanks for the best laugh I've had in months. Simmonds, Provorov PLUS? You keep dreaming man. I wouldn't trade Provorov straight up for him!
2.) 16 Feb 2017 15:29:11
Wow you are a sooth sayer.
Good call on that trade.

Pirri signs with the rags.
Crosby will Captain Canada at the World Cup (no suprise, in mankind words, "he always keptin")
Bouwmeester will replace Keith who is injured.
Thanks!
1.) 26 Aug 2016 07:27:02
Desert Knights? Did they confirm that? Kinda lame I wish it was something else :/ but hopefully the jerseys will be insane.
2.) 26 Aug 2016 07:51:01
desert knights immediately becomes the most ridiculous name in the league if it is actually what they'll be called.
3.) 26 Aug 2016 14:02:19
Yeah that's not a cool name. Sounds like a beer league team.
4.) 26 Aug 2016 14:29:11
has anyone thought how they are going to have every team play 82 games with 31 teams.
5.) 26 Aug 2016 15:57:41
I figured it out Colt. It's easy for East teams they play 30 (2 each) against west teams, 24 (3 each) against non-division but still conference oppenents, and then the remaining 28 games gets split into 4 games against each team in the division.
The West is a lil more tricky. Start with the pacific division.
They play 21 games (3 each) against central division teams, and 32 against East teams (2 each) . That leaves 29 games, sl that gets broken up into 4 games against each team in the division and then one extra game against a divison rival. Since there will be 8 teams in the division it works out perfectly. Say this is how extra games get broken down: LA-SJ, ARI-LAV, ANA-Van, EDM-CGY.
The central division is the hardest one to determine because they play 32 against East teams, 24 against west teams and that leaves 26 against divsion rivals. It's a weird number because they'll each play at least 4 against one another, but those remaining two are hard to split up evenly. I see it like this 5 of the 7 teams play two teams 1 extra time whil the remaining two teams will, instead of playing just 4 games against each other will play 6. Here is an example of what I'm talking about:
Chi: Dal, STl
DAL: CHi, Nsh
Stl: Chi, Wpg
Nsh: Dal, WPg
Wpg: Nsh, stl
Col - Min play 2 more games against each/ 6 in total.
6.) 26 Aug 2016 16:53:31
i don't think the schedule matters much at all. it's already not a balanced schedule even within a team's own division (some teams play division opponents more than others), so the NHL doesn't seem to care too much about that. they'll just throw something together and call it new and improved.
7.) 26 Aug 2016 19:39:24
im just saying you have an odd number of teams trying to play even number of games eventually 1 team will get a buy week worth a win does that make sense. Mathematically it doesn't make sense. you can't take 31 teams and have every one play 82 games it just doesn't work that way Before you bash me think about and explain how it works.
8.) 26 Aug 2016 19:45:07
31 is a prime number. i could see 62 games or 93 games but not 82 the numbers don't match. somewhere a team is going to get a buy to even things out.
9.) 27 Aug 2016 00:11:00
They mine aswell give Quebec a team too, to even out the conferences. Quebec Nordiques. Nobody can trademark it lol. But only thing is. You'll be loosing some assets from your team

Who will win the rocket richard?
Crosby?
Laine?
Ovi?
Or will a suprise candidate catch on fire and win it?
1.) 07 Mar 2017 18:20:49
Crosby. Laine won't but probably top 5 or even 3. Ovi you never know. He always heats up at the end on the season but he would need to go on a tear but I would never count him out.
27 Feb 2017 12:57:20
Minnesota is going all in, if they don't at least make the conference finals this year time for a re-tool. Chuck fletcher has built an absolute beast of a team, incredibly underrated.
18 Feb 2017 19:59:24
Masterton winner?
Budaj?
Bickell?
Anyone else?
1.) 18 Feb 2017 23:11:55
Craig Anderson.
2.) 19 Feb 2017 07:00:01
Agreed with Xcing, Anderson has pretty much already won given the events that's he's gone thru in recent months. Budaj would be an amazing choice tho but I just can't see anyone beating out Anderson this year.
3.) 19 Feb 2017 19:45:44
Anderson comes back from finding out about the cancer, shutouts Edmonton.
Comes back after the cancer battle, gets a shutout.
Man I've been cheering for him since the cancer thing started. One of the best moments all year for me was when he shutout Edm and the fans and Talbot stayed to give him a standing O. Great moment.
17 Feb 2017 13:55:23
Has joe veleno been overhyped? He was granted exceptional status, but is he another shaun day?
Most people don't have him going first and a couple don't even have him in the first round. He seems to be doing well in saint john, but I don't know, can someone who knows the situation better elaborate?
1.) 17 Feb 2017 14:15:20
Hes definitely a 1st round pick probably a top 5/ 10 just not the head of the class with guys like Dahlin, Svechnikov and McIsaac. He isn't putting up the most gaudy offensive #'s but he definitely has talent and plays a fairly strong 2 way game as well. I think RNH would be a fairly good comparison for him.
2.) 17 Feb 2017 15:59:51
Should still be a top 10-15 pick from what I've heard.
15 Feb 2017 14:04:20
Was hiring julien a move in the right direction for the habs?
My opinion:
Yes. Therrien was horrible, great move by bergevin, was hoping for gallant but julien is quite the suprise! Very happy habs fan.
1.) 15 Feb 2017 19:32:39
I think he was the best french speaking coach available, and one of the best coaches in the league.

Woah, Add Keith for chicago and Lander for Emdonton and you should be good.
15 Jul 2015 15:27:14
Pretty good post, I would do it, maybe habs addd a player like carr or a later pick, but overall good
04 Jul 2015 17:15:35
Shattenkirk is more valueable then jvr, Because he's a defence and they are hard to find. Plus I would rather have shattenkirk on my team then jvr
30 Jun 2015 00:41:39
Is this a joke?!?! Savers block the leafs number and order a hit on shanny!
Reinhart is a future number 1 centre and ristolainien is a future Norris d man
For your mental sanity I hope it's a joker
23 Jun 2015 18:10:32

He says Jake gardiner should be a norris candidate and that OEL is on the same level as karlsson.
14 Jun 2017 21:25:49
Prob someone like larsson or a player like kerdilles.
19 Mar 2017 04:02:56
Werenski
Chabot
Provorov
Hanafin
Sergachev
Juolevi
Mcavoy.
01 Mar 2017 20:58:55
They made good depth moves, no top 6 buy tho like vrbata which is what needed. Pit is the big winner in my mind.
05 Jan 2017 16:15:35
They have callum booth in goal (qmjhl all star) and the leader in save % and GAA Rookie alex d'orio. I started looking into them after they got gauthier and wow, they will be amazing.
