Edm doesn't need left D. Stop with these type of trades.
Unless there was a third team involved that Edm could flip Murray to, then sure.

2.) 18 Sep 2017 01:04:37
Edm absolutely needs def. Not saying this is their ideal trade but they have a very weak def. if Talbot falters or gets hurt, it will be a very long year for the Oil yet again. He was lights out last year but ridden extraordinarily hard.

3.) 18 Sep 2017 17:17:51
No. Edm does not need LEFT D. Sure they could maybe use a right handed D. But not a lefty that Murray is. Read my comment, understand it, then respond. You're such a broken record oiler hater Borje is so old.
Their D and Talbot are just fine. Get over it.

4.) 19 Sep 2017 01:01:54
I read it. For the life of me I can't understand your arrogance. If a team has 4 quality left shot def, they take them. And move oneto the rt side. Is that hard for you to understand? Best def of all time had Robinson, lapointe, Salvarsan, langway, engblom. All left.

5.) 19 Sep 2017 06:57:50
When was that? You think the game is the same now? Wow you're an idiot. Sorry.

6.) 19 Sep 2017 17:34:05
Is the year the Ducks got Nidermeyer despite their top 5 def already being left handed recent enough? How did that work out?

7.) 19 Sep 2017 17:38:09
How about the 2010Pens having 5 of their top 6 left handed? Not recent enough? You get the best players possible in def no matter which way they shoot unles you are the gm of course.

8.) 19 Sep 2017 22:02:12
I would have agreed with you before they resigned Russell to 4 years, Which I really disliked by the way.
But you're just a hater and wouldn't understand all the other reasons, i. e: they really like Benning. So there's no point in having a conversation with you.
I stand with my last comment.

9.) 19 Sep 2017 23:10:46
Isn't Bennington a right shot? He shouldn't be in the discussion based on your rigid philosophy. He's better than all but possibly two of your def. you have a chance to improve your team, you do it. Hater or not.

Colorado Avalanche:
- C Matt Duchene
Calgary Flames:
- C Sam Bennett
- D Rasmus Andersson
- D Brett Kulak

Colorado Avalanche:
- LW Gabriel Landeskog
Carolina Hurricanes:
- D Jaccob Slavin
- RW Elias Lindholm

I think it's very fair and reasonable and Colorado kicks off their rebuild by getting young replacements and much needed young dmen

Way way too much for Landy. He played terrible last year, and i wouldn't trade Slavvin at all. i'd say he's the most untouchable dman on the canes.

2.) 15 Sep 2017 18:10:28
1st is bad for COL, 2nd would never happen from CAR pov.

3.) 15 Sep 2017 18:43:41
Switch the offers around (ie Landry for Bennett, etc) and it might be more realistic.

4.) 15 Sep 2017 18:47:51
Just can't wait for the day that Duchene gets traded so i don't have to read any more trade proposals for him.

5.) 15 Sep 2017 22:28:50
Wow Canes get hosed big time lol.

6.) 15 Sep 2017 22:41:21
Anybody who trades for Duchene will regret it. If i was Calgary i WOULD NOT give that for him. He is a good player but Sakic is severely overating him.

7.) 15 Sep 2017 22:41:06
I like it, and one year doesn't defy a player's performance overall. They still have a ton of trade value but maybe if you switched the offers around. Calgary trading for Landy and Carolina trading for Duchene.

8.) 15 Sep 2017 22:47:39
Maybe J.Faulk for M.Duchene & R.Andersson + M.Jankowski + M.Stajan for G.Landeskog ?

Hampus Lindholm for David Pastrnak
Seen a comment about how Boston already has Carlo and McAvoy as their RHD's so how about a underrated LHD.

Zdeno Chara / Brandon Carlo
Hampus Lindholm / Charlie McAvoy
Torey Krug - Adam McQuaid

Not bad. I think Pasternak is worth a bit more at the moment but when you factor in it's going to take 7.5+ to sign him and lindholm comes with a 5.2 cap hit for 5 more seasons, it might be good enough. Cap certainty is definitely and asset in today's NHL.

2.) 14 Sep 2017 16:44:00
Pasta signed, 6 years 40 mil total.

3.) 14 Sep 2017 20:13:17
Well I guess I was wrong on that lol great deal for bruins. Also happy to see it as a leafs fan because I think that's a good comparable for what nylander could need. When draisatl got 8.5 and pasta looking for 7.5 it had me worried a bit. Nylander in the 6-6.5 range is good.
