That’s a good trade for the Bruins.

Something big is going on in Minnesota. First Niedereitter, now Coyle.

2.) 21 Feb 2019 13:13:06
Don't think there is anything big is going on in Minny -- they've lost two of their best players for the year and aren't going anywhere without them just doing a bit of a re-tool on the fly. Solid deal for Boston for sure, and Donato has some intriguing upside for Minnesota.

3.) 21 Feb 2019 15:42:02
I think there is Staal is next, and then maybe Spurgeon or Brodin as well as Zucker and Stalock.

4.) 21 Feb 2019 16:01:52
Why do people put unbelievable on a deal that has already happened, it makes no sense to me.

5.) 21 Feb 2019 17:40:47
Cause people are jerks.

6.) 21 Feb 2019 18:25:01
I read something that they are freeing up cash to make runs at big name free agents.

Ottawa gives:
- stone or Duchene (50% retained)
( both to me seem to have similar trade value )

Bruins give:
- 2019 1st rounder
- 2020 3rd rounder ( 2nd rounder if the bruins make the Stanley cup finals in 2020)
- Heinen
- Donato
- Backes (50% retained)

OTTAWA gets: high rounded picks that they could use to trade up in the drafts, they get not one but two young established nhl ready players, and an experienced player who knows the two young players playing styles

BRUINS get an established nhl top 6 1st/2nd line player to fill in a big need: a player to play consistently with Krejci and DeBrusk

Too much from the Bruins for either UFA.

2.) 22 Feb 2019 14:59:33
Not too much at all islanjet, quit smoking dude.

But I don't understand why both teams are retaining here, Duchene contract as well as stone is up at year's end, no need for Ottawa to retain at this point

Also Donato already gone in Coyle trade so I would imagine debrusk would be replacement here.

Blues give: Tarasenko

Bruins give 2019 1st, Heinen, Bjork, Donato, 3rd 2020

Bruins get a young (27) solid 2nd line player to play with DeBrusk and Krejci

Blues get two solid young option players for 2nd / 3rd line and one player who's good but could be better ( Bjork ) and a 2020 3rd to hopefully round it all out and obviously blues want a first bruins have given their first below so it's not new ground for them

Skittles

1.) 20 Jan 2019 23:23:21
If Tarasenko goes to Boston, which is unlikely, Debrusk is the main piece heading back, not Heinen imo.

It'll probably be centered around Debrusk + Carlo + Bjork + 1st + something else, imo.

If he does get traded, it'll be a better return than what Kessel got due to the age imo. I don't know if Boston's the right fit for another star though, I think Brayden Schenn works as a better option for them.

2.) 20 Jan 2019 23:47:49
This package does not give the Blues enough to trade a player like Tarasenko. Heinen, Bjork and Donato are young but not that great and may be 3rd line players at best, while the 1st would be in the high 20's.

Leafs gives:
- tim linigrin ( I spelled that wrong )

Bruins gives:
- Krug
- Carlo
-2nd (first if bruins make playoffs)

Skittles

1.) 15 Nov 2018 23:17:54
You left out Nylander? 😜😜.

2.) 15 Nov 2018 23:35:48
Bruins wouldn’t give us Carlo for liljegren. 2 top 4 Dmen and a pick for one good prospect just isn’t in the realm of possibility.

3.) 15 Nov 2018 23:43:29
I think you forgot to add Nylander+.

4.) 16 Nov 2018 00:27:56
I didn’t even think that’s what he meant lol makes more sense that way. I was looking at it like he thought the world of liljegren.

5.) 16 Nov 2018 01:29:11
Someone must be missing from Toronto?
If it is Nylander, I'd say Bruins still don't do this.
Boston has always been a team with a strong history of good D. from Shore. to Orr. Bourque, Chara. and to decimate their D core by taking arguably their top 2 D meh away. just won't happen.
Boston and Leafs also have built ( rekindled) a rivalry over the past few seasons. don't think either team has an interest in helping each other.

6.) 16 Nov 2018 01:48:48
I think you’ve been tasting the 🌈 too often.

7.) 16 Nov 2018 16:46:32
Nylander AND Timothy Liligren>>> Krug And Carlo.

8.) 16 Nov 2018 20:49:24
The gap between Nylander and Krug is much, Much higher then Liligren and Carlo.

9.) 17 Nov 2018 06:34:41
I was going tompost a comment until I noticed Sosa already said what I was going to say. I got to this party too late obviously.

I will say this though, since no one else has yet: trading with a division rival who can come back and haunt you in the first round is a bad idea. I don’t mind trades with bottom feeding teams that aren’t going to make playoffs or contend for a few years, but a team like Boston, who just knocked us out of playoffs last season, is a big no in my books. Would hate to have Nylander come back against us post-season.

Just my two cents.

Bruins give:
- Anton khudobin
- nick Holden

Flyers give:
- petr mrazek
- Andrew Mcdonald

Bruins swap good goalie for good goalie but the bruins get the younger one and the flyers have five goalies
And the bruins aren't going to sign Holden back i know he'll be a free agent I just couldn't find a fair trade partner for McDonald but Mcdonald did good this year to add a good depth on defence

Bruins need to get rid of or have no space or just need a new home

- Spooner ( new home )
- McQuaid ( have no space )
- Postma ( no space )
- Beleskey ( need gone )

Arizona:
- O.E.L
- Domi ( on trade block )

Bruins:
- spooner
- McQuaid
- Beleskey ( cap )
- Postma ( toss in )
- 3rd 2018

1.) 24 Feb 2018 21:52:18
This is possibly the worst I've ever seen on here. and there has been some doozies over the years.

2.) 24 Feb 2018 22:38:26
I’m assuming you forgot to put in Bergeron or Marchand or maybe Pastrnak?

3.) 25 Feb 2018 00:42:33
Unless the Bruins add a 6th. no deal! . Only with the 6th rounder it's fair.

4.) 27 Feb 2018 00:01:53
That’s less than the package they paid for Nash as a rental and you want a top pair all star prime aged D and a decent young forward? Lol insanity lives here.

Switch out Kreider for Ottawa’s stone or Duchene then we Boston will think about it ( my opinion )

Those players haven’t made a name for themselves to get a star like Karlsson so it just a 5th overall for him basically.

First trade- I feel you maybe have the value but it just doesn’t feel to me like it would go ahead

Second trade- not happen Calgary won’t trade Bennett even if they do i'd say they’d ask for more

Third trade- yes I agree with that trade though it would be better if Tanev is younger the 30 but I still agree

Fourth trade- again I agree coyotes get power with Lucic and the 10th pick and Edmonton got their defensive man and they did want to trade the 10th pick

With the signings- their always up in the air but I agree with the jvr helps any teams 2nd or 1st line
Grabner - I don’t know he’s a good player but yeah he’s add experience to the coyotes.
