I think Calgary should call it quits on the Bennett project. They also have no picks in the first two rounds this year and could look to trade back in.
Sam Bennett could be Strome's replacement if Oilers don't want to bring him back.

They won’t trade Bennett to Edmonton.

he's 21 years old. some high level players take more time; see hasek, hoffman, burns. that would be a very short-sighted move that would also have payoff later than now, which is the opposite of what calgary is looking for right now.

Very Interesting but can’t see Calgary giving up on him although I am also not very high on Bennett, but I think Calgary says no.

If Calgary is to say adios to the Bennett project. I don't see them trading him inbthe same division. he's very young. and has big upside. whether he reaches that or not. I don't think Treliving wants to see it happen jus up the road in Edmonton.
