Also it cost pick 38 to move from 8 to 6 but only pick 56 to move from 6 to 4? That's over half a round difference and in the early rounds that's a pretty big deal.

Thought process is that Oilers will be drafting either Juolevi or Chychrun and neither are slated to go 4 so trade down and get an asset. You can include those assets later in a trade to upgrade a need for now, include it in a trade as an add on.

Oilers should just draft the best D available at #4.
I've seen a bunch of draft lists where Juoveli is taken at #4-#7. Just take what you believe to be the best D of the draft and stop making the same mistakes you've been doing for years!

Apparently, during exit interviews, nearly three quarters of the Oilers mentioned that Taylor Hall was a cancer on the team.
This somewhat confirmed by both Ben Scrivens (previously an Oiler) and Oscar Klefbom both coming out in the media saying he isn't the be all end all.

I guess constantly losing, having 5 different coaches in 6 years, playing with under achievers for your entire career and carrying the weight of the entire Oiler organization on his back with no help until last year when it was and still is all about McDavid will do that to a driven player like Hall. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to playing in NJ.

Kinda tells you more about Klefbom and Scrivens if you ask me. Pretty crappy teammates. Also where'd you see three quarters? I heard about the two but I also heard good things about his attitude from I think Ference and others.
