ARI - Duclair, 1st rd pick, J. Moore
What do you guys think about it?
1.) To Rangers D Keith Yandle, D Chris Summers, 2015 fourth-round pick
to Coyotes D John Moore, F Anthony Duclair, 2015 second-round pick, 2016 first-round pick
2.) I think it's good if we win the cup with Yandle on the team. Bad if we don't atleast make another deep run and if/when Duclair becomes a star
3.) Cant believe New York did this. They don't have a first this year or next now and lose a 2nd also in this draft along with two storng prospects. Their future is going to hurt because of this. Also i'm not sure why they wanted Yandle don't get me wrong he is an amazing talent but they just signed Staal and Girardi long term and already have Klein, McDonagh and Boyle to take up time. Hopefully it works for them but to me its an odd move. It will be interesting to see how they deploy their defense.
4.) I don't even get it, rangers need better forwards not defenseman I mean srsly like the d- pairings are filthy even though I hate nyr

Boyle Klein
5.) The Coyotes also retained 50% of his salary. Crazy.
6.) Expected yandle to get more in return. the trade seemed average , but I'm not familiar with duclair so could be wrong

I don't really understand why they traded for two more dmen. They already have McDonagh, Staal, Girardi, Boyle and to a lesser extent Klein on the blueline. I thought they'd be in the market for a top 6-9 forward rather than another top pairing defenseman.
9.) It actually was:
NYR get: Yandle, Chris Summers, 4tj 2015
Ari get: Duclair, John Moore, 2nd 2015 and Conditional 1st 2015.
10.) NYR also got: Chris Summers, 2015 4th round pick
ARZ: 2015 2nd round pick (1st rounder is 2016)
11.) There's more to it, the Yotes did really good here I am not sure if they could have got more for him, yotes fan should celebrate, Domi with Duclair will be extremely special, and imagine if Yotes draft either Eichel, Mcdavid, or Strome it's going to be unreal.
12.) Yandle is good but I'm not sure if I would of gave that much up. Duclair is going to be good and you never know if he is gunna resign.
But PHX did retain half his salary so that's alright.
13.) I think Arizona did well. They hsve Duclair and domi. All they need now is a certain Reinhart and they'll have a set line for next season. looks like the rangers are all in. Giving up some good assets.
14.) NYR are going for it. East is wide open, Good move. i'd rather the pick be 2015 not 2016 but whatever.

@cosain Habs received the pick in the Prust deal.
McCarron is the big center Montreal have always wanted and he's progressing way faster than expected. However, to get something, you got to give something. I guess at this point that it's pretty much McCarron for JVR. IMO, Toronto would ask for more.

I'm a habs fan too and I would really like Duchene but let's face it, you won't get an elite center for these pieces.
If you ever want a shot at him, the trade should look a bit like this :
Eller/Emelin (Cap dump)
Sherback/McCarron/Hudon
Beaulieu
1st round pick
And even there, I'm not sure if the Avs would want more.
