To Nashville: Duchene
To Colorado: Wilson, S. Girard, 2018 1st round pick (NSH)
1.) 06 Feb 2017 11:43:38
Add fabbro.
05 Feb 2017 18:13:52
To Montreal: Duchene
To Colorado: Plekanec, Sergachev, Scherbak, 1st round pick 2017 (MTL)
Colorado then flips Plekanec to Nashville for Wilson and a 2nd round pick 2017 (NSH)
1.) 05 Feb 2017 18:17:48
col says no nobody wants these guys so why we want them.
2.) 05 Feb 2017 18:54:41
Lol. nobody wants Serra Sergachev.
3.) 05 Feb 2017 19:31:47
The first deal seems fair. Maybe mccarron instead of scherbak. The second deal looks like an overpay for a washed up plekanec and his bloated contract.
4.) 05 Feb 2017 20:11:07
I would not give sergachev 1 on 1 for Duch. He is a futur top pair D.
5.) 05 Feb 2017 20:55:36
ignoring the Duchene trade, that Nashville-Colorado trade is pretty funny. Plekanec gets Wilson AND a second?! really?
6.) 05 Feb 2017 21:37:55
Exactly what top shelf said haha ^^ wtf.
7.) 05 Feb 2017 22:07:23
Sorry fellow Habs fans. we are stuck with Plekanec and his big contract. Vegas won't even grab him at 6m for next season.
And I like Plekanec, but his time as a decent 2nd line center are over.
05 Feb 2017 18:11:17
To Colorado: Fowler, Ritchie
To Anaheim: Landeskog.
1.) 05 Feb 2017 19:46:31
Lol to much coming from Ana. Try Fowler straight up for Landy.
2.) 05 Feb 2017 21:38:18
If it's straight up then Colorado isn't making that trade.
3.) 05 Feb 2017 22:08:12
Id rather have Fowler over Landeskog.
4.) 06 Feb 2017 03:20:53
Same here.
03 Feb 2017 16:41:33
After Expansion Draft
To St. Louis: Nylander
To Toronto: Parayko
*Blues trade Shattenkirk at the 2016-17 deadline to Boston or NY Rangers. If he re-signs with the Blues, thinking it will be $7.5M/ yr x 7yrs.
1.) 03 Feb 2017 17:25:29
You have to be kidding, right? Even if Nylander was worth Parayko (a young top 4 RHD with room to get better) STL is trading Shattenkirk to keep Parayko and give him more playing time. They won't lose both of them.
2.) 03 Feb 2017 19:22:01
Can't trade both shatty and para.
3.) 03 Feb 2017 19:32:58
Parayko is not for sale. Its funny i said he was the man last year and got berated here all the time. Now everyone knows how valuable this Guy is LOL.
by the way looked way better than Reilly is supposedly a better dman.
4.) 04 Feb 2017 03:20:52
Rielly is a good dman, so is parayko, yet very different. You're also comparing them in one game you watched, which was riellys first game after missing 7 with a high ankle sprain. Apples and oranges.
5.) 04 Feb 2017 03:56:42
I follow reilly a lot he is on my 2 of my fantasy teams and I have been folowing the three young guns of toronto. I know the combination of shannny babcock and good drafting has turned toronto around. They are a fun team to watch but reilly is not as good as parayko it's fact.

Oilers Deadline
To Colorado: G. Reinhart, 2017 3rd Round Pick (STL)
To Edmonton: J. Iginla ($1,777,777 Retained)
To Arizona: P. Russell, 2018 2nd Round Pick (EDM)
To Edmonton: S. Doan
To NY Islanders: 2018 3rd Round Pick (EDM)
To Edmonton: T. Greiss
Lines
Lucic-McDavid-Iginla
Pouliot-RNH-Eberle
Caggiula-Draisaitl-Doan
Maroon-Letestu-Kassian
*Hendricks, Pakarinen
Klefbom-Larsson
Russell-Sekera
Davidson-Benning
*Gryba
Talbot
Greiss
1.) 19 Jan 2017 18:48:36
Too much for Iginla, it'll just be a draft pick most likely, and Oilers won't give up Reinhart for a third of the season for Iginla.
Oilers definitely don't need Doan if they get Iginla. So no.
No again Oilers won't trade for Greiss and I highly doubt Islanders will give up him as they already waived Halak. It would be better to just pick up Halak for the rest of the year if Oilers could send back Fayne or another worthless contract player.
2.) 19 Jan 2017 18:49:05
And Maroon 4th line lol
3.) 19 Jan 2017 19:11:53
#1 looks like fair value.
#2 looks like fair value.
#3 Would NYI really give up their starting tender?
Forgot about Nurse coming back in the defensive pairings.
4.) 19 Jan 2017 20:05:35
I think Oilers should jus stay the course and not be buyers, which also mean selling future assets with picks and prospects.
The Oilers aren't contenders. yet. They will be, so let these guys grow as a unit.
If anything., Iginla would be a good asset for leadership.
5.) 19 Jan 2017 23:27:37
The only moved that Oilers should do is trading RNH. But their isn't no rush for that one but try might get more if try trade him before at the deadline just because a team like Mtl that needs a second line center might be more tempted to trade him if they know they need him for this year's playoff run and since he's still just 23 he'll be good for a good while. GOOD
6.) 19 Jan 2017 23:44:42
If I'm Edmonton I'd rather trade Eberle over Nuge, but unfortunately oilers RW is not strong and. But Nuge could definitely be traded if the right offer is made

Top 10 UFA's 2019-20

1.) 06 Jan 2019 05:49:50
I don't see Panarin in Montreal, if anyone on that list, possibly Jake Gardiner and Habs.
Ottawa, I think will be able to re sign one, but not both., and that being Stone, who becomes the captain. They should trade Duchene before deadline.
2.) 08 Jan 2019 05:05:04
I think these are pretty good predictions actually
3.) 10 Jan 2019 03:45:40
Still a lot of extremely good players that didn’t make the list either. Lee, Eberle, Nelson, Hayes, Zuccarello. And that’s just the first five that popped into my head simply because thinking NY.
The free agency list this year is very impressive. Got to imagine it’s going to be a fairly active trade deadline.

1.) 22 Jan 2017 18:15:23
What makes you think Halak is an upgrade over Elliot. Also if they wanted him then they would have picked him up off waivers
2.) 23 Jan 2017 05:02:21
So the Isles would have Greiss, Lehtonen, Elliott and Berube?
3.) 23 Jan 2017 14:30:28
Halak is nearing end of his career, and if anyone wanted him, they could of got him off waivers, if Islanders don't need him, then realistically who, if Islanders retained most of his salary and throw in a bag of pucks.

07 Jan 2017 19:13:33
2017 Trade Deadline: Top 10 Trade Targets Predictions
1) Bishop - to Calgary
2) Landeskog - to Anaheim
3) Duchene - to St. Louis
4) Sharp - to Philadelphia
5) Jagr - to Montreal
6) Iginla - to Edmonton
7) Vrbata - to Vancouver
8) Oduya - to Los Angeles
9) Michael Stone - to NY Rangers
10) Vanek - to Los Angeles
1.) 07 Jan 2017 21:29:53
Vrbata coming back to Vancouver seems super unlikely.
2.) 07 Jan 2017 21:42:54
I'd like duchene but I just don't see what Aves would like for him that blues could give up
3.) 07 Jan 2017 23:17:04
1. i'd say more likely Dallas.
2. either not moved or maybe Boston can make a deal.
3. don't think STL tbh. same division.
4. idk if Sharp will be moved
5. probable.
6. there, Calgary, or any contender really
7. no, if Vancouver does that they're stupid. no need for them to waste time on rentals.
8. hmm. maybe.
9. probable again, with salary going back.
10, i see Chicago as a more likely target
4.) 08 Jan 2017 06:35:55
CGY is comfortable with what they have in goal, if they want Bishop they'll just wait until free agency, and Iggy wants a cup, he won't be going to Edmonton, if he does get traded it will be to LA or Chicago.
5.) 09 Jan 2017 04:27:25
Prince George boy eh?
12 Jan 2017 16:09:41
That is a great trade, although with Alzner a pending UFA and not likely to re-sign, the Caps would be quite depleted on LD
