BOBBY RYAN TRADE POSSIBILITIES

o To STL for Berglund, Rattie

o To PIT for Sutter, Harrington

o To PHI for Couturier, Lecavalier, 1st rounder in 2015

o To MTL for Plekanec, Nygren, 2nd rounder in 2015

o To CBJ for Johansen (Sens also add a conditional 1st in 2015; if Ryan resigns, it's a 2nd, if he doesn't, it's a 1st and a 2nd. Also, if Sens draft pick is in Top 10, the 1st becomes their other 2nd)

o To NYI for Pulock/Reinhart, Cizikas

o To SJS for Hertl and a 2015 2nd (Sens also add a conditional 1st in 2015; if Ryan resigns, they get their 2nd back, if he doesn't, it's a 1st from Sens and Sharks 2ndback. Also, if Sens draft pick is in Top 10, the 1st becomes the Sens' 2nd)

tspillz

1.) First two trades are the most reasonable (don't think STL has room in their top-6 for Ryan tho), the second two trades are bad, and the final two trades are just plain not going to happen. Johansen is a future #1C for CBJ and is going to be signed to a big contract this off-season. Same goes for Hertl except he is still on an ELC so his huge contract will come in a couple years.

2.) Forgot the Isles joke, uh, I mean "proposal." A team that is weak on D and strong up front is not going to trade away one of their best D prospects and another good player for another scoring forward. Terrible for the Isles, it would actually make their team worse to acquire Ryan if that was the cost.

where could Sens trade Bobby Ryan? In return, I want a center who can play top two lines with turris, and a really good prospect /or a vet with a shitty contract + a 1st

I think Sens could get good returns from Philly, Pittsburgh and St.Louis. Any other thoughts?

Post some trades

tspillz

1.) Plekanec & Bournival & 2nd 2015 & conditional 2nd 2016 if resigns

03 Jul 2014 04:31:12
Bobby Ryan to PHI for Sean Couturier, Vinny Lecavalier and a 1st rounder in 2015.

Philly wants a #1 left winger for Giroux. They don't have the cap for Ryan, but if Sens take Lecavalier they will.

It would probably be a conditional pick based on Ryan resiging in Philly, but sens are taking a salary dump so its ok.

This doesn't have to be the trade, but as a sens fan I want Ryan gone. He needs to go to a contending team, he can't be apart of the rebuild. I wish we could keep him but he won't stay so trade him while we can.

Thoughts?

tspillz

1.) I don't see how its a salary dump for ottawa if

1) they have many cap space

2) its not a salary dump if the sens take lecavalier

2.) Yup ryan will not sign a contract with Ottawa he should be traded

3.) 03 Jul 2014 14:48:05
Flyers won't give up thaat much to get him 1 yr earlier

4.) @Cd1

sorry I wadnt clear. Philly doesn't have the cap room for Ryan, but Sens have sooo much cap room so they can take on Lecavalier salary for the Flyers so they can afford Ryan

If every Habs fan wants Gorges gone.

2015 1st, Gorges, Bourque to COL for Rya O'Reilly.

Compensation for O'Reilly (assuming he's signed $5,046,586 to $6,728,781 [I would assume he signs at 6.5-6.7]) is 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

2015 1st = 1st
Gorges = 2nd
Bourque = 3rd

Comments.

tspillz

1.) Seem fair but the only problem is that Montreal have too much center so habs would to trade pleckanek, desharnais or eller

2.) 30 Jun 2014 21:22:16
If O'Reilly signs at 6.5-6.7 I see Colorado matching it right away.

3.) What were the Leafs offering for Gorges?

4.) Why in the world would Montreal overpay ROR? Unless they decide to trade at least 2 of the centers they already have they don't need to add another one.

Just not a good fit. They need Galchenyuk to play center soon or he'll be another Tyler Seguin who won't get his chance and get traded just to turn into a superstar.

5.) I would think it would be something around Gorges for 3rd 2015 & Kulimen or Bodie.

6.) Tor does not want georgy kicking flat tires doesn't count

7.) Not every Hab fan wants Gorges gone.
Loads on blogs on how MB messed this up.
Gorges is a solid leader in the room as reported by La Presse, Montreal Gazette, and bloggers such as Wilde and Engels to name a few.
He is a solid stay at home Dman.

He won't be given away.

8.) Leafs were offering Cody Franson. I read that on Bleacher Report. That was it Franson for Gorges straight-up.

9.) I'm sad that he's gone now. That too him and Gionta who were both leaders and now they can lead the dreadful Sabres out of last place.

So Arizona now owns Duclair and Domi, maybe take a shot at completing the world juniors line and pick up Reinhart from Buffalo? Does Buffalo take two of top three picks this year and give up Reinhart who they drafted 2nd overall?

tspillz

1.) 02 Mar 2015 18:23:35
lol these guys played 8 games together why is everyone so horny about reuniting them.

Domi and duclair might end up being 3rd liners at best, at the nhl level. Reinhart will be an all star.

Get this out of your head.

Official, Yandle to NYR.

Trade was:

ARI: Yandle (D) (50% retained), Summers (D), 4th
NYR: Moore (D), Duclair (F), 1st 2016, 2nd 2015

Great deal for both sides, this what more trades on this website should look like. People got to stop with the "Crosby for a bag of pucks" looking trades

tspillz

1.) If we made more trades like that, some of us would be actual GMs

2.) 03 Mar 2015 17:22:43
It looks like Regier is trying his hardest to beat Murray to the bottom. That would be the greatest revenge on the Sabre Fans (who hated Regier) if the Coyotes finished 30th and won a cup before the Sabres. LMFAO!!

15 Feb 2015 19:38:19
I don't see what the big deal over vermette is. He has 35 pts in 57 games and is -19. I would deal max a late 1st this year that's it.

tspillz

1.) Decent pts, skewed +/- (bad team), but his faceoff prowess is a big part of it. Possession is huge in the playoffs.

2.) 15 Feb 2015 22:03:21
he'd be a great add s a 3c on a team looking for a cup. but yea that's about his value (late 1st)

3.) He has the skill set and ability to play up and down the line up and be effective in all 3 zones. He's the perfect type of guy to add to help put you over the top

4.) Its more than that,
Hes is one of the better skaters in the NHL and amazing at faceoffs, he's very volatile on where he can play in the linup.

Will easily fetch a 1st to a playoff team.

tspillz

1.) 28 Jun 2014 18:05:48
byfuglien > kadri
2nd > reimer

2.) Reimer = 2nd
Byfuglien > Kadri

buffalo is not going to be aquiring any big names they should have no expectation to even make playoffs nex season, they shouldn't wanna trade away their young assests plus kessel is never waiving him NTC for buffalo

chicago is trying to wina cup too, they would throw players around like that, especially important ones like hossa+seabrook in one deal

teams don't just throw players around like that, that's a deal you could maybe make in the nhl video game but never in real life
