Please no I’m not trying to destroy every aspect of depth on Toronto for a star player.
Of course PK is a star, but man, I would rather see Toronto wait it out and get EK or Myers next summer, or get a cheaper option like Miller or Tanev this summer. Trading away our 60 point 2C when we have minimal centre depth, a middle 6 RW, two top young d prospects/ players and a 1st will j set us back more imo.
I just can't see toronto blowing it up this much.

I like Subban and he would be a huge addition to the defense in Toronto, but I agree with top shelf. That’s way too much youth to give up. I’ve been saying all along that I think the leafs should target a top 4 instead of a top 2 while waiting to see how Liljegren develops. Tyler Myers would be an ideal defenseman IMO. Winnipeg could get the most value for him right now coming off his best year.

No way. Especially when the rumours are that he has already worn out his welcome in Nashville’s dressing room. I Want no part of PK. Plus with Matthew, Marner and nylander getting paid, we need Good players on ELCs like dermott, liljegren and kapanen to play big roles here and can’t afford to give up a 30 goal man making 4.5 mill in Kadri right after our other 4 mill/ 30 goal man in JVR is probably walking in a cpl weeks.

Ya at 6 guys like Brady Takchuck ( proably gets pick 7-8) Hugues (4-6) or Oliver Whalstorm (4-6) will be available wich all have to potential to be just as good or even better then Patches then age factor kicks in. Hugues is also a really great D and if u can get him at 6 u dradt him.

Pacioretty > Teravainen but because of Pacioretty's contract length it becomes more

The 2nd and Lindgren fill that gap between the players' values. I'm guessing CAR will want a little more though.

It all really depends on where the Habs draft. but. take the best player available. like I said in an earlier post about Leafs/ Bruins playoff match up. it's waaaay to early to start thinking about April/ May/ June. Habs could go on a winning streaks, end up picking outta top 10. kinda hope they continue to drink this season however and have a chance at #1.

No. If Quebec gets a team it will be Carolina, Florida or an expansion team. If the coyotes were to move, it will be to Seattle. That will not happen till an arena gets built. So that is about 3 years from now.

Now rumors of Houston wanting maybe looking into getting a team, after Houston Rockets billionaire owner was meeting with Bettman at NHL offices in NY earlier this week.
I'd say if Calgary doesn't figure out their downtown arena problem then they become the Houston Flames.

But not Houston is in the rumor mix for a team, probably an expansion team.

They will probably try to keep Arizona's team in the west if they relocate. Most likely to Seattle or Houston. For QC to get a team, it will either be Carolina or Florida.

If you move Arizona to the east you have the whole imbalance thing. Quebec will get a team from the east. Unless Carolina moves to Huston and Quebec gets a expansion team. I really don't think Quebec would like to play in the Pacific division.

leafs wouldn't be interested in any of those players, umm i think galchenyuk would be a good pick up for Detroit, maybe not to be the #1 cent but a good top 6 player, haven't been as into the wings lately so i don't know their prospect pool as much as before but maybe a swap of athanasieu+Vili Saarijarvi (#3 prospect in the system) +3rd for Galchenyuk. Of course only if AA comes back to play for the habs.
