I guess if you thought Strome or Marner would be better than MacKinnon, maybe?
If the Leafs picked 3rd aka Hanifin (which they won't), would COL consider it then? Not saying they would, but they need an elite d-man.

He shouldn't have been up this season.
But his skill and size suggest he's going to be a solid player
