Interesting. might work, but that's a little rich on the second trade. Edmonton may have to add on both, but it's a start.

Can't see the Edmonton deal happening; Lucic is fading fast - his best days are behind him. Khokhlachev is a smaller skilled foward - exactly what the Oil have too much of. And the 2015 2nd is useful but its just more hope for the future.
I think what you have to think about is this: What does Edmonton need? Goaltending and top pairing D. does this trade solve these problems???
And another point - Could the Oil get more for Taylor Hall from other teams? I think definately yes.
Seabass - how would you possibly think that Edmonton would have to add??

Lucic best days behind him?? Is only 25-26 are you ok?
He's having a bad season like most of the bruins player
Rather have lucic than hall who is always injured
Lucic 30 goals with 200 minutes of penalty.
He's able to give big body check and earn respect just
Being on the ice .
Bruins overall had a bad season . No players reach the 25 goals mark this year so far. They are not all fading

JS - I'd rather have Hall/you Lucic, so I guess we agree that this trade makes little to no sense for both teams.
My point on Lucic is this - the game he plays is going to have a big impact on his health moving forward - and he's going to demnad a longterm contract at some significant $$, that is a big risk that I would'nt make - apparently you would.

Yes lucic doesn't have the value he did at the start of the season but edmontons top 6 forwards are hall nuge eberle yak roy and pouliot. if you didn't know the only person above 6'2 is pouliot and he doesn't really belong in the top 6 does he? I think mac t would take that offer in a heartbeat AND it benefits both teams- boston gets a scoring winger which they oh-so need and edmonton gets a first liner to get in on the forecheck and win battles consistently and if looch plays with nuge and eberle? pretty sure he'd do just fine
