This is actually a bad trade for flordia. Getting a guy like mcdavid doesn't automatically make you good.

and yes I do believe this is MASSIVE over payment, barkov and ekblad are both under 20 with ridiculous potential and lu is still a great goalie so i'm sorry that's just way too much to give up for one player

Edmonton is not, I repeat NOT going to Trade McDavid, Edmonton is about to Draft a 18yr Old Gretzky type Centre, how could any Team Trade that?
I am a Leaf fan and believe me I would have loved to see McDavid next season in Blue and White, but the Leafs or any Team other then the Oilers will not be blessed to have the next Super Star Player, good for Edmonton to get another Gretzky all over again, only problem Edmonton fans after 7 years he will be a UFA unlike the Gretzky years so enjoy for the next 7 years as come 2022/23 Season my bet is McDavid is a Leaf and he will be 25 years old in his prime with the probably Drafted Dylan Strome from this years Draft a Leaf and McDavid's best friend

Ok Now This a lot to give for florida but in the end its have to be done cause the panthers franchise need of course tallon would not do This but the owner would do This in a heart beat if it can bring much more fan to the games! I went to see the florida vs Montreal game at easter and its the only time its full but full of habs fan
