Ya your right cus if u had him he would not have helped you guys score this year right?? Cus patches did a lot in the play offs? U need depth in scoring buddy kessel brings that to the habs. And say what u want, he is a hell of a lot better then any scorer u guys have

Overpayment by MTL. Kessel scores, but that's literally all he does. Kessel in the playoffs w/MTL wouldn't have done anything to help them win. What, one or two goals in between being demolished into the boards and cherry-picking at center ice while the opposition man-handles the MTL D and scores? Yeah, that would have been great for MTL. Kessel was acquired to be a foundation for the leafs and look at what he's done for them. He's a regular season player, he doesn't have what it takes for playoff hockey. I know leafs fans will stand by him regardless til he is traded away, whenever that may be, but just watch. Once he is traded and the leafs build upon whatever return he gets, they'll forget about him in a heartbeat. The guy is a legit top-6 player, but will never be a go-to guy. He's too static for truly "elite" status.

Here is where the problem sits. To get. Players like eberle, hall and kessel who has out scored both eberle and hall over the last 3 years even while playing with bozak who everyone will say is not as good as the NUG. So if u guys think ebs.and hall will get more then kessel then you guys are not really watching hockey, your probably just turning on Tsn and watching hi lights and then 1 v 1. Live or hate the guy he is going to bring a good dame return if traded. And I know habs fans don trike the leafs but I'd your a fan of the game and know anything bout the habs then you would put kessel on your team.

You see that the problem : guy like kessel, stall are good but cost too much and have a too long contract to deal with them!
Take subban he sign big money for 7 years he's going to be about 32 when is contract will end that respectable!
