I've been hearing rumors of Montreal trying to reunite Yakupov and galchenuk. What would you think of this:

Montreal: Tinordi + tokarski
Edmonton: Yakupov

Close? Who adds?

The other rumor I heard was Washington and Chicago being close to a trade involving Sharp at the deadline.

Chicago: Sharp
Washington: Carrick or Orlov + a pick?

I'd love to see burokovsky (however you spell his name) in Chicago but would take more than sharp to seal the deal there.

Not enough for sharp or Yak in my opinion

Yes not bad but maybe change the prospect for getting sharp

for the wshchi deal to go through it would have to be a 1st, most likely 2016 1st

not enough for yak, not enough for sharp.

I think Sharp is worth a bit more, but definitely will be on one of the teams that make a deep playoff run.

Edm says, "HA, nope!"

24 May 2015 15:21:33
Burakovsky would be too much for sharp, maybe Chicago adding a 3rd or something for that? Montreal adds a 1st or second maybe to the yak trade?

24 May 2015 15:45:45
Burakovsky is totally untouchable for a 33yr old on a contract Chi would more than happily rid themselves of (I'm assuming you keep Seabrook well before Sharp). Chi could add their 1st and Wsh would still unquestionably say No Thanks for Burakovsky. Wsh 1st + B-prospect + salary (Laich) is close to Sharp's value.

24 May 2015 17:10:54
Chicago is trying to shred some salary though? 1st Orlov + Carrick for sharp?

25 May 2015 04:21:05
Shedding salary will cost you in any trade. I.E. Sharp's value in pure futures (no cap-dump, no salary retained) is Wsh '15 1st + longshot prospect. If you're implying Sharp for 1st + Orlov + Carrick that's a ridiculous overpayment.
