Free Agents I think Toronto should pursue
Viktor Stalberg - 2 years @ 1.5 per
- Stalberg was drafted by Toronto and played very well for them as I recall. The leafs gave up on him once but they can redeem themselves now. Speed and size could help round out Toronto's 2nd line going into next year.
Cody Hodgson 2 years @ 2 Per
-Willing to take a risk on a former 1st rounder. Born near Toronto if I can remember and could re-ignite his career. Will help out in the middle 6.
JVR - Kadri - (whoever they get for Kessel)
Stalberg - Bozak - Hodgson

It's been reported across multiple outlets that Nashville will likely buy out the remainder of Stalbergs contract. Maybe I should have clarified.
Oh and by the way, Stalberg makes 3 million not 4.5 million. Nice try, though.

If he does get bought out, I could see him taking less to go back to Chicago or maybe a team like Pittsburgh ,

Don't think he would go back to Chicago because of Quenneville, but you never know, my bet is that I goes to a contender for a little more than a million for one or two years.
