Cap Problems are the hole yakattack.
Brassard and Haynes are the Top 2 Centres and Bozak and Moore are the 3rd and 4th line Centres.

Hayes is the perfect 3rd line centre and Stepan is their best centre at this time so why would they trade for a 2-3rd line C a 4th line FWD at best and a 3rd

Switch Stepan with Brassard and maybe. Leafs might need to add a bit more.

stepan is a young top 6 centre with the potential to be a legit top line guy. bozak is a 2nd/3rd liner, frattin is worthless and the 3rd makes no difference.

Same type of "CAP" Trade as that Shankar, its not about Talent in the Salary Cap NHL.

a CAP trade, really? brouwer has a cap hit of 3.66 mil, oshie is only approximately 600K more than that. that's not a cap trade at all, sorry. a bad trade for STL? yes, but definitely not a cap trade.
