Hahahaha Columbus says no.

31 Jul 2015 05:25:55
Why wouldn't they just keep Johansen?

31 Jul 2015 05:54:47
thats hilarious. keep doing you montrealfinest.

Ahaha Shankar just commenting again and again without even posting anything tipycal leaf fan!

This post is fair!
If galchenyuk make more point then johansen i'm going to have the last laft!

Why make This trade simple for montreal they need to win Now and johansen have proven that he can be a number 1 center!

Now for Colombus :

They get a much younger centerman
Who could get the same point then jo that's the gamble!
Plus they get a 1 st

Now we won't trade galchenyuk for Toronto scrap ex kadri bozak etc.
Or philies schenn brothers or couturieryou got to be real Now! If chucky get trade is for an important offense piece

Usually teams don't sign a guy then immediately trade him

31 Jul 2015 14:10:12
@Montrealfinest. What's your point? Half the accounts on here don't post trade rumours nothing wrong with that. I'd rather see no trades then trades like these. RJ has more value and is better then Galchenyuk and why would both teams add 1st round picks? Odds are Habs pick will be later so easy easy no from CBJ.

31 Jul 2015 15:11:05
Much younger? It's 1.5 years and Johansen is still super young at 23. It's a bs proposal. Johansen's ceiling is at least as high if not higher while he's already proven a lot more.

31 Jul 2015 15:58:22
This deal is fair?? Wow man. This is so off. Columbus says NO! Johansen is 5 times better than Galchenyuk right now. It's not even in the same ball park.
It would have to be Galchenyuk and a 1st and the first would have to be damn well guaranteed to be like top10/15 for Johansen with no pick. And Columbus still hesitates and says no.

This may be the STUPIDEST trade I've ever seen! You expect Columbus to trade the best scorer they've ever had (I'm including Nash, Jo is better) in exchange for some kid who hasn't been able to show off any of his potential as well as a late first. Also you have Columbus throw in a pick as if the deal was unfair for Montreal. And no need to put in that condition about him hitting 70 points next season since he won't.

Do you seriously think this is fair? Columbus trading a guy who has scored over 63 points (71 last year) in each of his last two seasons as well as reaching the 25 goal plateau both years (33 in 2014) in exchange for a player who hasn't even hit 50 points (48 last year, 80 games) and just barely made the 20 goal plateau?!

I agree that Galchenyuk has a lot of skill and potential and he could become a star someday, but why would a team (Columbus) trade for a guy who MAY become a star in the league, in exchange for a guy who has already become a star in this league and isn't even close to hitting his potential ceiling (Johansen).

Johansen is going to be one of the leagues highest scorers for probably the next decade, while that may not ever happen for Galchenyuk. That's my final reason why this trade ain't fair.

I wrote the post before chucky signing by the way!

31 Jul 2015 22:50:49
Montreal finest no offence but Columbus would not definitely not do that

03 Aug 2015 03:05:01
Don't think either team would make that trade at this stage of their careers
