Believe it or not Johnson has the same value than Eller and Sustr is less than Emelin. So if Tampa got Emelin, they'd trade him away to Dallas or something for a prospect and free up some cap space. Then they'd sign Eller at like around 1 million$ and that frees up even more space to sign Stamkos. And the Canadiens free up some cap space and get even better players. GET IT!!

@Pksubs76 No I don't get it. Johnson has 128 points in 173 games. Eller has 130 points in 363 games. Johnson is also a little younger. Still trying to figure out a way that Eller has the same value. Believe it or not, you're wrong

How does Johnson have the dam value as Eller? Johnson has stood out on both sides of the puck on a team stacked at forward and Eller can't crack top 6 on a team that can't score. Emelin and Sustr play the same role but Sustr does it cheaper and with more room for development. Please tell me how you reached your valuations PKsubs76

Johnson has more value than Eller. that's forsure. The downside I see is that Johnson may be a 6.5 to 7.5 million a year guy soon. I don't think he's quite worth that.
