Reinhart has more value than Shattenkirk at the moment due to age, potential and contract (shattenkirk only 1 more year, then a huge raise). The 2nd would be coming back to Buffalo if anyhting. But Buffalo says no.

Your telling me u seriously think an offensive defenseman who was in running for the Norris trophy is worth less than a prospect with potential. How has yakupovs potential worked out. Shattenkirk is not for sale for potential. Reinhart needs to prove something first so once again blues say no

I think that would be a great trade for Buffalo, I do not know about the Blues. Buffalo still needs a RW but with Eichel, ROR, Girgenson and Larsson at center, Reinhart could be traded for a PP defenseman

So in 21 less games he pretty much matched his numbers from last year. Kevin Shattenkirk is a proven #1 offensive defense man and if he didn't get hurt he was on pace for 60pts so blues say go f yourself we are not trading Shatty for a prospect end of story.
