The main piece is obviously Crouse. The only issue I have with this is that Toronto has gambled on big strong lugs in the 1st round before and they have failed miserably each time (Biggs and Gauthier). Based on that, why would Toronto trade a young 30 goal scorer for another potential bust? Makes no sense to me.

I don't think the leafs would do this either, but mainly because I don't have faith in Crouse. I actually hope I'm wrong and he becomes the next 30+ goal wrecking ball in the league because the league needs another one of those, but I just don't see him as more than a third liner at this point. Maybe leafs mgmt view him differently, but given that he is the main cog here I'd have to decline.
6mths from now, tho, it could be Florida who is saying hell no. We'll see.
